We stayed in the family room which was spacious and had an ensuite shower room. It had a large double bed, a single & bunk beds - great to find a room that can accommodate 3 children. The room was very clean & comfortable. There were tea & coffee facilities in the room. The farm was in a great location, very peaceful and full of character. Only ten minutes drive to Lyme Regis. We were welcomed with tea & coffee in the garden when we arrived and were able to use the guest lounge as well as our bedroom. The children loved the chickens and Kate's dogs. Breakfast was lovely. Kate was a great host, very helpful and made us feel at home. We definitely hope to return again.

We stayed at Kate's Farm a few weeks back and really loved it. The house itself is unique and very comfortable (great beds!), the breakfasts are delicious, the surroundings charming and peaceful, and most importantly Kate is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. My son (7 YO) loved the grounds, the chickens, and the large nature reserve just across the street. I can't say enough about how well this lodging worked out for us - Kate greeted us with a glass of wine, got us oriented to the area, and helped us out a great deal when one of our traveling companions became ill. If we ever return to the area we'll definitely stay here again.

What a brilliant, welcoming and homely B&B. Highly recommend staying at Kate's Farm, it is one of the best family B&Bs I have stayed with. The farmhouse if fully of character and our 4 year old loved the huge fireplace, complete with child friendly 'nook'. He also enjoyed feeding the chickens and collecting the eggs and the generous breakfasts. The sun came out and we could sit in the garden - I was very reluctant to leave! Beds, bathroom and generally all the accommodation very good and of high standard.

A truly welcoming stay. A listed farmhouse with a huge inglenook. We had the garden room which I thought had adequate space for us, as it was only used for sleeping did not expect a premier inn sized room. Other bedrooms also of good size, Shower room clean and toilet and wash basin in large room attached. Come and go as you please. Breakfast very good. Garden outside with fishing available in five lakes to side of house. Definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Any of the rooms are good to sleep in as this is a listed building. The garden room is downstairs and easy for disabled visitors with its own acess to outside on a even level as there is a large step from the front of the house making it more difficult for wheelchairs. All other rooms are upstairs.

Truly a lovely place and it is hard to imagine more welcoming hosts. We had the garden room which was clean and summery. We were lucky enough to get a pleasant evening and sit enjoying the lovely garden, right outside our room. Great shower and good value for money. Yes, the room is a little small but it is a listed building! Great breakfast.

Room Tip: Garden room is the most accessible for anyone with limited mobility.
