Kate was extremely welcoming to her beautiful ( and spotlessly clean!) farmhouse.
Our 2 children ( 2 and 5) absolutely adored the dogs, chickens and the horses.
Kate was extremely thoughtful in lots of little toddler friendly touches - from the Beatrix Potter bowl for the organic porridge to the wipe down table cloth on the breakfast table.
Our 5 year old was kept very entertained by the hide-away toy area, tucked in at the side of the fireplace.
Kate was a most attentive host - chatty and friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. We would be very happy to return!

We stayed w/ Kate to visit the River Cottage along with our two girls (8 & 10). We enjoyed the lodging and hospitality immensely. The countryside is idyllic and we enjoyed walks with the B & B mascots - Fern & Bob! We recommend it.

My husband and I chose to stay at Kate's Farm with our 3 year old daughter as it was close to the Axminster Skill Centre where my husband was doing a woodturning course. Furthermore, it had the added plus point of being close to Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's River Cottage HQ and Canteen in Axminster. We were not disappointed. Kate welcomed us warmly and provided us with good accomodation and a wonderful cooked English breakfast with fresh home produced eggs. We enjoyed afternoon tea by the wonderful open fireplace whilst our daughter loved the secret hide-away toy room. Great country location for those wanting to explore Lyme Regis.
