“Wonderful cottage, great base to explore the area”
Reviewed September 3, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Stayed at Bonlondeb with 3 adults and one toddler. What a lovely cottage. Beautifully presented and a great layout. The patio area is a great place to just sit back and relax after a day at the beach or walking in the surrounding hills.

Bodlondeb has all the amenities you could ask for. The pub is next door as is the village shop (small but well stocked). The river (which the patio overlooks) leads down to the pebble beach (over the train line), however the beach at Aberdovy is only 15mins away with glorious sands.

We will definitely be back next year, but for a longer stay than just the 3 nights to explore more of the area. Would highly recommend Bodlondeb cottage to anyone.

“Cottage perfect, good location, pub food 20 yards for a change from home cooking”
Reviewed May 28, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

The location is brilliant you turn a corner for the final journey to the cottage and the sight changes from green fields to sea, then coastline as far as you can see. arriving at the cottage in the village.
The cottage is well maintained, clean with all the comforts of home.
If you prefer a change from home cooking there is a pub 20 yards away from the cottage providing food and drink.

“Gorgeous house”
Reviewed May 15, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Beautiful house! Wonderful location. Lovely to sit out next to river with coffee. Minor issue with electricity meant one adventure day wasted due to waiting for electrician as owner not local. But owner very lovely and dealt with it as quickly as he could.

Very minor in scheme of things as house was truly wonderful, but a mild week in may and walked into house on arrival it was like a sauna, unplugged all heaters but underfloor heating was always on and just way too hot for comfort; but stable door open all breakfast and majority of evening meant we had fresh air and lovely bird song.

Comfy bed. Cosy house. Lovely area. I'd happily stay there again :)

“Great little get away!”
Reviewed May 14, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

The other half and I visited Bonlondeb to get away for a few days just to chill out for a bit. This was the perfect place, really beautiful and quiet. The pub across the road and the shop next door pretty much have everything you would need for a few days. Barmouth and Tywyn are both short drives along the coast with plenty to do in each place, there are also plenty of scenic walks all around. The cottage is cosy with great facilities and the garden is lovely. I would definitely recommend staying if you're looking for a quiet get away.

“A Welsh gem by the sea ”
Reviewed April 6, 2017 for a stay in March 2017

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Bodlondeb Cottage. It really is home from home, so comfortable with everything you need.  A bubbling river runs by the back patio garden, making it a superb place to sit listening to nature or have a chilled glass of wine in the sun.  In the village there is a well stocked store and a welcoming pub serving delicous hot meals. The beautiful coast is there to explore on your doorstep, along with quaint little towns such as Tywyn and Aberdovey just minutes away by car or by rail as there is even a little station down by the sea! This is a holiday home you will just want to keep going back to!

“A Perfect Cottage in the heart of the Village.”
Reviewed April 4, 2017 for a stay in March 2017

The Cottage is right in the heart of the Village with a Shop on the other side of the Bridge which was very well stocked+sold Newspapers....Also the Pub is a short stroll away where we had a good Meal on the Saturday Evening.
The Cottage is well maintained and felt like Home especially when we lit the Fire in the Snug....The outside Terrace is a peaceful place to sit to watch the River go by and observe the Tits on the Feeders and the Grey Wagtails in the River.
The Walk down to the Beach takes only about 10mins with lots of stops to look at the Flowers,Lambs etc.
Also there is an Arriva Train Request Stop which we will definitely use next time we visit Bodlondeb Cottage.
