My partner and I had dinner and stayed overnight for my birthday - what a special experience to treasure in the memory bank! Friendly staff - the barman is Jolly by name, jolly by nature and they know their stuff. Started the evening with one of their gin infusions which was delicious. We chose the long menu (so no decisions to be made over what to eat!) and each course delighted the taste buds as well as intriguing the eye. I couldnt believe it could all be done in the cooking area, which is fully visible and includes a fire pit constantly burning. The use of their own grown vegetables, herbs etc adds to the attraction. 12 courses, so cant begin to list, but stand out for me was the spiced pumpkin soup - amazing. Even for breakfast everything was homemade, even the turmeric and ginger beer served in place of juice.
We stayed in one of the smaller rooms, but it was quirky, comfortable and great toiletries!
This is not somewhere to go frequently but i would love to go back in the summer and make use of the garden for one of the wonderful gins before a lunch.
Highly recommend and very definitely compliments to the Chef.

The staff ensure you have a warm welcome. The Chef Jon is amazing and had great pride and pleasure in showing us the beautiful open fired kitchen that is simply stunning.
The service was excellent and a special mention to Jolly and Connie for making our visit very special.
The food did not disappoint it was truly superb with wonderful layers of flavor. The wine list although limited is well put together and gives enough options to suit all tastes.
It is in the most lovely part of the countryside tucked away up a quiet lane in Radnage, If you fancy a night away it also has a few rooms so you can explore the beautiful area.
I Cant recommend this enough and although I wish we could keep this a secret, I feel it is one of the best restaurants I have visited in many many years,
We will be back.

We were lucky to have been given some money in the form of a voucher for my Husbands 50th from friends for The Mash Inn.

We arrived on a dark, winters evening to a beautifully cosy and classy restaurant. A lovely cocktail at the bar and then we were shown around the kitchen - fabulous to see where it all takes place.

We went for the tasting menu and wow what a treat! We also let the waiter choose the wines for us to accompany the courses and he did a fabulous job tailoring it to use from his knowledge.

The staff were lovely - very knowledgeable about each course (they were complicated!) the food incredibly creative and simply delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed and cosy!

We had the most perfect evening and will return!

From start to finish we were made to feel very welcome by the staff, who were fantastic, friendly and helpful. We were made to feel that this was more than a restaurant, this was a passion and an experience. Everything was explain and nothing was too much of a problem. The chef, Jon, was on hand to answer question and served some of the courses.
The food was exceptional. hard to know what else to say really. Even the thing that sounded a little odd tasted fantastic. Can't recommend this experience enough, brilliant..!
