+ small, family run hotel
+ clean, modern rooms, got balcony with seaview
+ breakfast served to the table, lot of to choose from, and they are not counting the minutes if you are late due to party night out...
+ literally at the beach
+ one of the best staff ever!!
+ 5mins drive from Hvar, hotel provides low-cost transportation to the city. Taxi costs apprx. 100kn

+- location is both good and not good. If you dont have a car, you need to stay in Milna or take transport to Hvar all the time. Milna has couple of nice beaches, several restaurants but is very calm place.

All in all this hotel is wonderful option for all Hvar hotels! Screaming return if ever visit Hvar again!

Booked the room for 3 people for 3 nights and realized that couldn't make better choice. Convenient location: small fishing village but only 5 min drive to Hvar city with nightlife.
Nice family run hotel, great facilities, excellent simple breakfast. We ordered very tasty lamb peka one day for lunch ( has to be ordered at least 3 hrs.in advance). Good size room. Beach is across the street. Would recommend.

Room Tip: Triple room with side sea view

Booked apartment for four people ( two teenage girls). The location is right at the entrance to Milna and 10 steps from the little beach. The hotel is family run and is just perfect for a relaxing holiday. The rooms are modern and well equipped . We had a family room ( 103) with a balcony and sea view. The breakfast (included) was a feast. The hotel also has a set menu for dinner , which is great value for money . This is not common in many places in Croatia. The owners and their family are very considerate and friendly. Try their own grown wine. We wished we had stayed longer. Hvar is about 6 km away. There is a deserted village 20 mins walk away at the top of the road. Perfect Hotel with 5 Star service which will leave a lasting impression on us. Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed at this hotel in July. The family that runs it couldn't be nicer. For its price, this place is great and in a great location, small fishing village with beaches and local food options, not far from the nightlife of Hvar city. Relaxing, welcoming... anyways, one of the best places I have stayed in recent years.

I was traveling with my husband and a friend. My friend stayed in a different hotel, the Amfora Beach resort because Fortuna was fully booked. We both spent time at both our hotels and the main difference is that even though her hotel was enormous with a really nice pool area and right next to town which was a plus, the reception and concierge services were awful, not helpful, and impersonal.

In contrast, Hotel Fortuna is run by a friendly family who really does everything to make their guests' stay pleasant. When I needed something ironed and asked for an iron, I was told they didn't have one to bring to my room but instead ironed it for me for no charge and my husband had his laundry done quickly and for a reasonable price.

The ride into town only takes 5 minutes or so and is scenic and is offered by the hotel at about half the price a taxi charges and they will pick you up in town as well and is available whenever you need a ride, someone will literally drop what they are doing and drive you. We used this service several times unless we were coming back after midnight, then we took a taxi. The transfer to and from the ferry - or catamaran (make sure when you ask them to pick you up or drop off, you make the distinction) is included. The beach area is right outside the door and is lovely. The best part about this hotel is the food, we had two amazing meals - prawns, whole fish, salad, wine - and it is such a better value and better tasting than what we found in old town.

The room was plain but clean and spacious. The wifi worked well. Overall a wonderful stay.

We spent our last night in Croatia at the Fortuna Hotel and were sorry we hadn't planned a longer stay. We thought the location 6 kms outside of Hvar town might be a problem, but it worked out well. The hotel picked us up at the ferry at 06h30, and took us back to Hvar in the afternoon at a moment's notice, and didn't charge us for either service. The hotel has a lovely spot right on the (stone) beach, with loungers for hire at 20 kuna per day. The staff were extremely friendly and service-orientated, breakfast was plentiful, fresh and delicious. Our room was clean, very comfortable, fully air conditioned, equipped with a fridge, coffee machine, and fabulous shower. We didn't have a single criticism, it was amazing.

Room Tip: We had room 103, which has an extra alcove for the sleeper couch, making it more spacious for famili...

Magda and her family run a superb little hotel right on the beach. Nothing was too much trouble for them - their hospitality was exemplary. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and freshly decorated - and linen and towels changed very regularly. We could have stayed much longer!

Room Tip: We had a side room which was perfectly nice but if we return next year I would love one of the rooms...
