“Very interesting”
Reviewed March 20, 2013

Ros, Ian and Lee-anne were working the morning we went to the Butterfly House. All of them were very keen to assist us. Ros showed us the life cycle of the butterflies, the caterpillar, the pupa and the newly born butterflies and explained the process to us. Ian showed us around the rest of the Butterfly House and explained the different species and the different plants that each species prefers...amazing...I thought all butterflies liked all flowers. We also got to see stick insects. We stayed for morning tea which was lovely too. I felt like I learnt a lot about butterflies and there were some wonderful photo opportunities. A morning well spent.

“Kids love it”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

It was a humid and hot day when we visited there in Jan 2013. No air conditioner. But kid had wonderful time. A little bit expensive entry fee and not like what we expected.

“Rip-off”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

Overly expensive, not much to see or do. Advertising is deceptive. The maze was not difficult but stupid. This place would be boring for kids too . Stay away and stay in your cocoon!!!

“A nice morning”
Reviewed December 25, 2012

We stopped by the butterfly house on a road trip down to NSW. The maze was quite fun (we are big kids!) and the butterfly house had quite a few varied species which you are allowed to let them walk onto your finger (as long as you didn't touch the wings!). I had a fair few land on me and one of the guides there was pretty knowledgable and we had a chat about how they got all the butterflies and their lifecycle. As somewhere to stop for an hour or so it was a pretty good way to spend a morning!

“Family Holiday”
Reviewed October 16, 2012

We visited the Butterfly house in the September school holidays
I had prebooked as there were a group of us, old 78 and young 18 months
They had a private PARTY room set up for us
The young ones had a great time colouring while we waited for our lunch
The food was fresh and yummy
The children had carrot cake and a large jug of cordial to share
Us oldies enjoyed sandwiches, fresh fruit platter and a drink of our choice
I chose the decaf cappacinno, good choice
There was food left over and we were allowed to take it with us
Then we went and visited the butterflies. The children were fascinated by them
The staff bent over backwards to assist us and the other customers that kept on coming and coming
I would love to thank everyone there for a great day out
