“Wonderful cottage, great location!”
Reviewed April 1, 2017 for a stay in March 2017

Haystacks is now part of our handful of amazing cottages to stay in the lakes! Such a fantastic place to stay with beautiful decor, all the amenities you need and more, along with a lovely garden area to relax. The friendly owner is at hand if needed and the little touches like wine, biscuits, milk etc on arrival was a great touch!

Such a relaxing stay and I would highly recommend it to others.

“Beautiful cottage”
Reviewed February 15, 2017 for a stay in February 2017

Gorgeous cottage, immaculate inside, has all you could need (including washing machine, dishwasher etc) lovely log burner, super-comfortable beds, handy location for Keswick and the mountains, lovely local shop and handy pub (50 yards or so away). Helpful owner- couldn't fault it. We'll be back.

“Amazing Haystacks ”
Reviewed January 3, 2017 for a stay in December 2016

We stayed over the New Year break with six adults slightly worried with how cosy the cottage would be however perfect size it is the most homely felt cottage we have stayed in, dinning area slightly tight but very manageable. The location was perfect, you are literally on the doorstop to two friendly village pubs with fab pub food. The fireworks on New Year's Eve were amazing some of the best we have seen. Lots of walks around the area with no need to even get in the car. Local village shop brill a tad expensive but what you would expect. Christmas decorations and games a lovely touch, couldn't resist a game of family monopoly. Very well kitted out. Will definitely recommend and stay again. Thanks again,

“STACKS OF CHARM”
Reviewed December 12, 2016 for a stay in December 2016

Our delightfully cosy stay in Haystacks was simply perfect. The cottage looked brand new and there were many tasteful decorations, a lovely Christmas tree and a beautiful silver/grey theme inside. We made good use of the log burner and had an excellent nights' sleep.
We've been to the North Lakes on several occasions and this was such a peaceful stay.
Until next time...

“Homely Haystacks”
Reviewed November 14, 2016 for a stay in November 2016

We stayed at Haystacks with another family and would highly recommend it. The cottage is in a perfect location and is really well presented. We were greeted by a little basket of goodies which we thought was a lovely touch. We love to cook a nice meal after a long walk and found a really well stocked kitchen to prepare our feast. Could not fault the place and will look to return soon. I hope those that stay really look after this place as you can see the owner has put so much into it .

“Fabulous cottage and location”
Reviewed October 23, 2016 for a stay in October 2016

This is a fabulous cottage, pristine, comfortable and well equipped. We had a great stay in this lovely cottage in a great location. Close to Keswick, and great walks from the cottage itself. Thank you to the owner, Jo, who left a thoughtful hamper plus flora and milk in the fridge. The two pubs we tried in the village were excellent; the Royal Oak and the coledale inn. We would definitely stay again.
