Stayed for a week has everything you need, lovely and clean, amazing garden in which we got to see deer and squirrels early in the morning. Overall fab week.
First things first, its not me that booked the house. Very nicely fitted out, all very good quality fixtures & fittings. The owner is next door and very helpful as and when its needed. Really nice walk into the village at the top of the garden. Booths in Keswick is great, only 5 mins down the road. Parking at the back of the house isn't the easiest but you can pack at the front if you need to. The kitchen lounge space is lovely. There's different types of mattress so most people should be able to find one to suit them.
Only negative points are (all pretty minor)
1. that there are two garages underneath the two front bedrooms that were opened and shut very early and really quite late, woke me up twice.
2.There wasn't a manual for the house, so we had to bother the owner more than we would have liked and it was more difficult than it needed to be to do the stuff that we didn't need to ask him about. Things like recycling, where things are, how to work things etc....
3. There's also no handrail for the steps down to the kitchen so my elderly father in law struggled a bit with that.
4. the upstairs bathroom could do with a shower as you could definitely fit one in, although there is one in the en suite to the master bed.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely consider coming back.
