Sadly the tea factory was not in operation as it was low season, but we still got to see all the machinery and the packing area which is operational all year round. The little museum was ok, but the highlight is definitely driving the 2km up to the lodge. There you are given a table on the terrace, looking out over the tea plants and the lake and a generous selection of all the company's teas to taste. We could have spent ages there - and nobody would have minded - but had a full day of activities planned.
The tea is cheaper to buy in supermarkets than the gift shop, though.
