This tavern is primarily a restaurant with two rooms for rent. My wife and I did not stay here, but did have a leisurely dinner and long conversations with the owners. They are a young cpouple from Lisbon. Outside the restaurant is a hokey cut out pre-Roman Luisitanian, which made me wary of the quality of the place. My fears were utterly unfounded. ( Interestly, upon looking at photos on our return, the owner looks remarkably like the man in the cut-out, although the cut out is purely fictional.) The tavern has a lovely outdoor deck where one may dine overlooking much of the village and the valley far below, or , if cold or rainy, inside in a stone lined tavern. Food and service were excellent and cheap: 26 euros for dinner with copious drinks. Try the crepes.
The rooms are around the corner from the tavern, in a totally quiet area. The whole establishment is fairly far up the mountain, beyond automoble access, so be ready to lug your luggage uphill a bit. Everything is recently renovated, and well renovated.
