The location of this summer restaurant is stunning at the back of St Nicolai ruin. You sit on tables in the grass and the kids can run around the ruin and the gardens and play while you wait for the food. However this is the only thing which is wonderful. We, like most guests, paid for roasted lamb and and buffet. The buffet was not huge and every time we went to get some lamb from the BBQ there were always 2 or 3 items that had run out and took 20-30 min to refill, for ex the potatoes, the tomatoes, the sauce etc. It was really annoying as we did pay almost 40 euros per person for the food alone which was a lot. We came at 7:30 and by that time a lot of the cuts seemed to be gone, for ex a lot of people had ribs on their plates so we asked for those and were told that those were finished. The guy who distributed the meat really gave the impression that the meat was on a ration so you have to go and get more numerous times and of course each time the things you want from the buffet are finished so you get more and more annoyed as the evening progresses.
I did however enjoy a delicious saffron pancake for dessert which was ordered off the menu, not part of the buffet.
The shortcomings are a great pity as the restaurant is stunning but you leave feeling slightly cheated. If they could just make sure the distribution of meat feels a bit more generous and someone can pay more attention to the buffet I would have given it a 5 due to the outstanding setting.
