“Love these birds x”
Reviewed March 22, 2013 via mobile

Two Birds is one of our favourite cafes on the Central Coast. The food is always fresh and a generous serving, and the quirky, casual space is cosy and welcoming. Also lots of interesting pieces of art from local artists to look at or buy. Love this place!

Love this place. The food is great and cheap, plus the funky art gives it a cool but different to the norm feel

“Unique and altogether delightful”
Reviewed November 4, 2012

I had stumbled upon the Two Birds Gallery Cafe on facebook some time ago. Ever since, I had wanted to go, as the concept of good coffee + simple and healthy food + locally hand-made art and craft sounded most appealing. I live in the Blue Mountains and decided to venture off to the Central Coast for a weekend. The trip was worth it! Toowoon Bay is sleepy, friendly and cute, and the Two Birds Gallery Cafe didn't disappoint. The girls are all super-friendly and recommended the blue jay – corn fritter stack with avocado, baby spinach, pine nuts, tomato, feta and sweet chilli sauce for lunch. I was told it was one of the owner's great grand mother's recipes and was sold immediately. Delicious!!! The fritters were fluffy, tasty and fried to perfection, served with a colourful medley of vegetables, pine nuts and sauce - a generous portion of them, too! After lunch, I browsed the shelves of hand-made creations and found a beautiful book by Red Tractor Designs that I had to have. All in all, a most pleasant experience - congratulations, Two Birds!

“Eclectic breakfast location”
Reviewed October 6, 2012

Recently enjoyed breakfast for the first time at Two Birds. The cafe is an amazement of wonders with art, jewellery and homewares for sale around the place. I wasn't sure what to look at first, the menu or the wares!

The staff are very friendly and nothing is an issue. The furniture is antique, old school with nothing matching with adds to the warm feeling you get sitting inside on a cold, rainy day.

Oh, right can't forget the food. Eggs and breakfast wrap were out picks and they didn't disappoint. Just large enough to not require much lunch later in the day but not big and heavy like most local restaurants. Meals were very affordable too, again compared to other local cafes.

What brought us to Two Birds was our love of Glee Coffee Roasters from local Tuggerah, whose coffee is used at Two Birds. If you haven't discovered Glee yet, head to Two Birds and get to know the coffee and everything else this fabulous cafe has to offer.
