We ate at this restaurant twice during our stay in Marmion in August. Both times the service was great, really friendly and the food was excellent. Interesting menu offering some nice choices, fish taco was superb as was the sesame salmon, will definitely be back. Location wise for the beach is fantastic and interior of restaurant is charming.

Saturday lunchtime : We were shown to the back area outside the restaurant, as the cafe was full to wait 10 minutes for a table , hastily given a bottle of water but no glasses! This, despite the fact it was windy and raining. Waited 10 minutes after being seated for a waiter who took our drinks and mains order. 15 minutes later we had to ask for our 2 beers again as the waiter hadn't yet placed the order at the bar. When the food arrived, I was given a knife and fork to eat a bowl of chilli mussels - no spoon , and only 1 small piece of garlic bread. We had ordered a garlic bread as an extra , but never got it. We were not asked at any time during our meal if we were happy or even if we wanted another drink. Would have liked dessert and coffee but couldn't be bothered, just like the staff. Wouldn't recommend this place and certainly won't go back.

This is the first time that I have visited this delightful seaside restaurant since Kailis took over (formerly know as the Trigg Island Cafe). We went there for a birthday lunch, I had the sesame crusted salmon which also had lovely stirred fried vegetables with it - this meal was beautifully presented and well cooked - certainly will have this again at my next visit. The others in the group had grilled snapper with either chips or salad. While the fish was lovely, the chips lacked crispness. The services was friendly however a little slow initially, this however picked up during service. I look forward to having another lazy lunch gazing over the Indian Ocean @ Kailis Beach Cafe in the coming weeks.

Another restaurant that's been taken over by successful professionals right on Trigg beach, the next one up from Scarborough.
The ocean views from the tables here are wonderful right across another crystal clear beach, and the views are matched by the fresh seafood at very reasonable prices.
The Greeks are renowned for their fresh calamari (squid) and the grilled calamari here is worth travelling for.
The fish also tastes like it's just come off their fishing boats at Fremantle and it's great to see another quality new restaurant near Scarborough beach.
