The restaurant is hidden and can barely be seen from the road. There is only a sign pointing towards an opening into the wall indicating they are open for lunch and dinner. Going inside you first only notice some lush tropical trees. Driving on you will find a parking. Then, following a path again passing some lush tropical trees... you will enter a lush garden with large green field and on it a large old villa colonial style... You might feel like having been teleported from the busy street outside into an old-style movie, in a relaxing world where time passes only slowly. :-)
The villa is truly remarkable and the menu contains a description of the history of the place (I remember it's only in French but possibly there is also an English version).
The menu options fit the place. Inventive interesting options to choose from. The quality of the food served was great and we enjoyed a fantastic, slow, relaxed lunch looking out onto the huge tropical garden colonial style. What a unique fantastic place!
The price for the food is very reasonable and not (as I feared a bit at first) high at all.
Truly an unique and fantastic experience. I will not forget this place easily.
The staff is kind, very helpful and professional.
Will visit again for sure, given the opportunity.
