I had 2 nights at Eagle's Nest and could have easily done more.

mark and Vikki were superb hosts and could not have done more for us at all. Friendly, full of helpful advice and genuinely nice people. From the birthday gift that I was given to the brilliant breakfasts. We stayed in the Butch & Sundance room which was great- really well 'decorated' and very comfortable.

Breakfast was great on both mornings and the constant supply of snacks, homemade cookies, water, coffees and sodas kept us more than full during our stay.

I would LOVE to return to the Eagle's Nest, there are alot of choices in big Bear but I would not look any further than Mark and Vikki's accomodation.

Highly, highly recommeded.

My boyfriend and I were here for an early Valentine's Day getaway! We couldn't be happier! Mark and Vicky were amazing hosts! Their breakfasts are to die for! Especially Vicky's monkey bread!
Thank you for your attentiveness!

Spent two weeknights for incredibly cheap price! Such a great value including the delicious breakfast and well-kept property. Room was immaculate and extra comfortable, we stayed in the Rio Bravo and I recommend it. Location was perfect for the typical Big Bear activities and restaurants. Somewhat close to the road for traffic noise, but barely above white noise, so not enough of a bother. Very thoughtful freebies like large DVD library, bottles of water for arid Big Bear, and fresh-baked cookies. We will be returning!

We chose this place because it was #2 on the Tripadvisor list for Big Bear and also cause they had a great special! The room we hoped to stay in the whole time was Whispering Pines cause it had a nice large jacuzzi by the fireplace in the room...perfect for me and my girlfriend. But it was only available one night, so we stayed the second night in Gold Rush. The rooms were great! One small note is that the heaters in the rooms are old and if you are a very light sleeper (like me), you can be woken up all night long as the heat turns on and the fan makes a "pinging" sound for about 3-5 min before it settles. Very bad in Whispering Pines. But Gold Rush was better.

Other than that, the rooms were comfy and wonderful. It has a TV, but if you plan to watch it, it may disappoint you. They are so small and far away from the bed...or at some weird angle, it made watching before you go to sleep almost pointless. But, we weren't up there for that, so it wasn't a big deal.

We elected to bypass the breakfast since it was too "basic"...and we wanted to try some local places for different gourmet options. GO TO MADLON's!! AMAZING!

Innkeepers were nice enough. Nothing too memorable about them, but helpful and friendly. :)

Its a good find. Don't hesitate to stay here. :)

Room Tip: Check website for specials.

Our first time to Big Bear Lake, and we stayed in the very right place. The Eagles Nest B&B is centrally located, making it easy to get to all activities. Our room was clean, always important. Our hosts made us feel comfortable, offering extras that were so nice. The breakfasts were amazing, hearty but not heavy. We recommend The Eagle's Nest strongly!
