The vineyard is adjacent to the coffee shop which serves fabulous home made pastries, and light lunches, as well as their own wines.

Set in beautiful countryside, there is an outside decking area with wonderful views across rolling hills, as well as indoor seating. There were three of us today for tea and coffee with home made cakes, lemon sponge gateaux and chocolate brownie.

The pastries were fresh, really tasty, and the beverages served piping hot with plenty of milk for ampot of tea for one, but which would serve three or four. Great service, great food, great loacwtion and great value.

Thank Raymond F

I have been to many vineyards in France and the USA but seldom have I met anyone with more passion about their business than Ken at Old Walls. It was great to hear how after a family feud he got into growing grapes and making wine. The details were totally fascinating and the work and hardship involved in trying to grow in the UK makes what our cousins in France have to cope with seem small beer. The wine they make is interesting and you certainly get to taste a good variety. I won't comment if it is good or bad as you learn as you get older that if you like it it's great but that does not mean anyone else has to. The location is lovely and the day we visited the weather was just superb. The lunch served as part of the package we bought was excellent value and a bottle of wine of your choice was included in your visit. The scones cooked by Ken's wife were some of the best we had ever had and we bought some to take home. I'd love the recipe! We stayed at Cockhaven Manor, a short walk up a steep incline to the vineyard and a leisurely and mellow stroke back! A memorable day out.

Lovely owners made us so welcome. Interesting place, and amazing views. Tried (and bought) some lovely wine too. Beautiful homemade cakes and a lovely cuppa. Perfect way to spend the afternoon

Visited the cafe here last week with family. It was a shame that the weather was not great as the outdoor decking area is the prime location to sit and enjoy views down the valley. We had a warm welcome and the food was very good. Will definitely return on a sunny day, whenever that is!!
