“Best trip that I can remember!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 19, 2011

This trip was literally the best that I can remember. The area is beautiful, the lodge is comfortable and clean, the food is delicious, the bar is fun and the activities are AMAZING!!! Being abroad for 3 months, this goes down as the best time I've had. I definitely recommend it to everyone I know coming to this region! As well, it has to be said that the entire staff is amazing, helpful and fun to be around. They deserve a lot of credit!

“Some of the best fun I've ever had getting wet!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 17, 2011

We found the website for Presili Venture by accident whilst looking for somewhere to learn to surf and the itinerary for the Staycation appealed - 2 half days Coasteering, 1 half day Surfing, a whole day Sea Kayaking and a hike (although we went for a cycle instead).

It turned out to be one of the best holidays we've ever had! The staff are brilliant, the food is amazing and the activities excellent (well organised, good kit and great fun).

We'll definitely be back!

“An amzing afternoon of adventure!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 8, 2011

We were all nervous waiting for the coasteering (fears of jumping on to a seal being the highest on the phobia list!!). But our guide (Ant) soon broke the ice and set our minds at rest. He explained we could do as much jumping in or swiming around as we fancied! He gave us lots of interesting facts about the local sealife and birds!
Jumping off the highest bit was amazing! And finding the seal in the back of a cave was a bit scary!!
All in all an unforgetable day!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Will be coming back next year!

“Banter, Sea and Challenges”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 6, 2011

3 days of fun, banter and plenty of challenges were had by all in the group.
A real sense of school adventure trips with a grown up element is the best way to describe Preseli Venture.
Very comfortable accommodation in the way of a 9 berth dormitory welcomed us for rest and recuperation after days packed full of activity.
We chose to undertake the 'Adrenalin Cocktail' package of kayaking, Coasteering and surfing. Activities many of us if not all had not tried previously especially off the Welsh Coast in September.
We arrived mid afternoon on the Friday and were immediately greeted by friendly faces of the staff who were not inconvenienced by our earlier than expected arrival ! We were shown our rooms, personal washing facilities, dry room and the epicentre of activity, The Lodge. It was a compact building where everything that happened on the weekend sprung from. Free tea and coffee with biscuits were always available and it was open from 0800 hrs to 0200 hrs. Having no TV distractions but a pool table and table top board games to play was a refreshing difference from the norm. It allowed for all the griots staying to interact and become good friends for the stay. The Lodge also had a reasonably priced bar with well stocked varieties of lagers, beers and ales available with very friendly and outgoing staff.
All meals were included in the price and they were definitely the type to hit the spot exactly when they were needed and each meal was a plentiful portion with seconds on offer if needed !! All meals had a feel of comfort, no nonsense, home cooked fare and they were a credit to the guys preparing them.
The activities were full on and filled the day perfectly. Breakfast at 0800 hrs, activities starting at 0900 hrs, lunch at approx. 1230 - 1300 hrs with the afternoon activities starting at 1400 hrs returning at approx. 1700 hrs for a freshen up prior to dinner at 1900 hrs.
The activities were all perfect for the group and allowed us all to feel like we had achieved something and experience something new. They were a great way to see the Welsh coastline in all it's glory whilst resoecting it and it's inhabitants, especially the Seals and seal cubs that rule the roost !!! There was always plenty of equipment that was clearly looked after and adequate for the activities undertaken and the instructors ensured we were all fully briefed and ready to get the most out of the sessions. They had fab knowledge of the area, sea, history of where we were and made activities interesting and varied whilst ensuring our safety and enjoyment. They were all very friendly, smiley and outgoing and promoted Preseli in a professional and positive manner.
The facilities to shower and wash were more than adequate for us all, having several 'wet rooms' which were fairly new and most importantly had hot water at all times out of nice powerful shower units !! Towels were available to hire for only £1 and hand towels, soap and bodywash was provided in the wet rooms. There was a dry room to allow for wet clothing and towels to dry out ready for the next day etc.
In conclusion, the weekend could not have been better and lived up to our expectations and more and the only complaint we all had was that we wished Prembrokeshire and Preseli was nearer to Buckinghamshire !!! I would recommend Preseli for a excellent, value for money weekend experience full of banter, sea and challenges.

“Whole family loved it!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2011

We had a coasteering afternoon with Preseli, and we all loved it and want to do it again! From beginning to end the staff were friendly and made us feel relaxed, from the very helpful (nothing too much trouble) booking to greeting us on arrival although they were on a lunch break... From offering a cuppa at the start to hot chocolate afterwards. All the equipment was provided except trainers, swim suit and towel. I would definately return, and after seeing the facilities may consider a staybreak, although you are slightly isolated from the rest of civilisation not sure you'd need much as theres a groovy bar with a pool table on site. We were part of a group, the others were kids and parents of similar ages and we were really looked after and though encouraged never forced to do the jump....I'm glad I did though!! Absolutely superb!
