“Absolutely amazing!”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

The Wolfcenter is located about three quarters of an hour by car from Bremen and has its own parking facilities, gift shop and cafe. As a student, the entry fee was 10 euros and this gave you access to the museum, petting zoo and then the four main enclosures, as well as a guided tour. I don't want to give too much away as that would make it less interesting for people who visit but it was a fascinating trip!! The guided tours take place every couple of hours - the tour lasts about an hour and a quarter - and the guide was fab. She gave us such thorough information and was clearly both very knowledgeable and passionate about wolves.

Before going to Wolfcenter, I had no idea there were any wild wolves in Germany so the centre has a very important role to play in educating people (both on wolves and on the dangers of wolf/dog hybrids) and inspiring them to help protect and understand these beautiful creatures who have a right to live here in Germany. I think this is the best day out I have ever had. Howling to the wolves and having them howl back is something I will never forget.

“Experience I'll never forget”
Reviewed October 27, 2013

The Wolfcenter isn't that big, but it's got a lot of information about wolves and an excellent tour (it was in German though, and my German isn't that great, but a translation of the tour was available to read for free). Nice restaurant, souvenir shop has room for improvement, I would've loved to buy some wolf gifts but there weren't a lot of nice things. Felt really comfortable at the center though, we brought a dog with us as well and it was welcome in the restaurant and in the inside areas. Also, we howled at the wolves with a group of people and they replied to us! Gave us a howling concert of about 2 minutes, goosebumps! That experience alone was worth the money and the traveling. Don't miss this place if you're passionate about wolves.

“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed April 17, 2013

This rather unique theme park is well worth a visit. Between Bremen and Hannover in the middle of nowhere it still exist since 3 years and since that the displays, restaurant and exhibition around the main attraction - the wolfes - were improved quite a lot. Its very educating if you a with children. Parking is easy but there is no chance at all to visit the place by public transport.

“A wonderful day trip with the family”
Reviewed November 1, 2012

We arrived in fall as the foliage was changing and thr drive was very pleasant. It was a bit rainy and overcast but it did not detract from our fun. We went for the day and ended up staying in the on-site lodge overnight so that we could see more. The staff were wonderful and spoke excellent english. The on-site cafe was great and the room was value for the money. IT was wonderful to hear the wolves howling and it felt like we were camping. Next time we want to stay longer and bring warmer clothes. The tour for the children was educational as well as for the adults(separate groups.) We really enjoyed the wolf center!
