“Excellent choice if you have an onward connection”
Reviewed November 23, 2012

excellent place if you arrive in the evening at EZE and have an onward connection next morning. The hotel is located in a residential neigbourhood where the owners built some rooms in the backyard. Rooms are clean, with TV, wireless. Breakfast is just some sweetbread with coffee and juice. Big plus of this place is that the cost of the room is about the same as taking a taxi to BA and back. A taxi will take 45 minutes to get to BA if you want to stay there for the night. This hotel is just at 5 minutes from the airport. Other advantage is that the roomprice includes the transfer from the airport to the hotel and back to the airport the next day.

The owners are super friendly and helpful. It's about the most convenient and cheapest place close to EZE which seems to have terribly late and early departure and arrival times. I stayed here 3 nights in total and was easily able to spend the day in BA by a taxi minibus which the lovely senora organised for me. Rooms are simple but totally adequate. I'll definitely stay here again if I pass through EZE solo.

If you arrive from one plane and have to catch another in the morning there is nothing to eat within walking distance of this place except a restaurant that doesn't open until 8.30pm and it was a terrible restaurant at that
There is very little English spoken except for the lady proprietor who is not always around
All in all I think there must be better places than this for the same amount of money
Also the room I was given had not been cleaned from whoever used it before
There was still used toilet paper floating in the toilet

This hotel is ideal if you arrive late at EZE airport and plan to have a morning flight the day after. This was my experience. The positive point is the transfer from and to the airport which is included in the room fare. USD 95 is a rather high price for the room you get which is rather basic but clean. The other option near the airport is the Holiday Inn which is located much farther and for which you need to pay USD 180 a night without transfer.

In that case, the choice is quick since you spend only a few hours in your room.

This is really a home and you stay in small but comfortable rooms in the backyard cabins. It's great though, close to the airport and they pick-up/drop off at any time of the day (we had a 5am departure, no problem to get us to Ezeiza by 3:30am!).
Their house is comfy and cosy and the pool on a hot summer day and night is a godsend. It really is a bit far out if you want to see BA but is perfect if you're transiting BA and need to be near the airport. The suburb itself has a few shops nearby. The hosts are very friendly and speak some English if required. They serve breakfast or will pack one if you leave early like us. Great service.
Recommended - we went to Sunday roast lunch nearby at El Quincho, about five minutes walk. The BEST roast pork and beef ribs we have ever tasted.

Room Tip: All rooms face the pool and open onto the backyard.

This is a little too far out of the city for use as a base during a longer stay in Buenos Aires, but if you arrive late at Ezeiza airport, or are leaving early, or - as in our case - both, then it can't be beat.

Friendly place with basic but perfectly functional rooms, A/C, a swimming pool and nice garden to sit in. Breakfast is fine, if nothing to shout about, plus you get free transfers to/from the airport, which is only a 5-minute drive away.

It's also in a good and quiet neighbourhood, so very restful if you've just stepped off a plane as we had. A bottle of Argentinean wine by the pool at midnight, serenaded by chirping crickets, was the ideal way to unwind after a 14-hour flight escaping the northern European winter.

Recommended.

Need a bed for a night? Bernie's is a good choice. Nice owner, friendly people, small B&B in a leafy residential area just 5 mins from the airport. Plentiful breakfast. Small swimming pool. Easy to get to central Buenos Aires by nearby private minibus. Like lots of other Argentinian accommodation, needs a lick of paint, a tidy up. But the friendliness of staff, correct pricing and proximity to airport help make up for that. We'd will return after our next flight to BA.

Room Tip: Probably furthest away from pool, as kids love to splash and lots of folk are in that comotose jetla...
