My wife and I ate at this establishment just last week and were blown away by the food. The menu is very sophisticated, the chef is a gifted artist. The food, quality, presentation were indescribable!
I selected the chef’s tasting menu, which needless to say, was over the top!
My wife’s selection was also very good. The wine list very nice and the staff were fantastic!
The decor very nice and The Who,e vibe of the restaurant is u derststed elegance!
If you are in the area, treat yourself to what probably would be your best meal from that local environ!

We were taken to this restaurant by friends who knew of this place. It was fantastic. Food, the restaurant, the friendliness. Best Italian food I have had for a long time. An absolute total surprise. Worth going out of your way. Make sure it is a long lunch and you leave time for dessert.

Puglianello is a rather attractive village but, for the tourist, it is rather off the beaten track. It is a great shame because Osteria il Forno dei Baroni should be better known – the kitchen team are obviously most talented and the price/quality ratio is very attractive. Brush up on your menu Italian – the ristorante is in deepest Campania! For a stunning meal of three antipasti (shared), two primi, two secondi with wine, water and double espressos for two, we had change out of €90 – extraordinarily good value for truly excellent fayre with an interesting, but totally local wine list! Make a detour, and visit!

Stopped here with my dad (85 years old) and uncle (89) for a light lunch because we had a big dinner planned that evening. The food was so good that I ended up eating more than I bargained for. Great appetizers, and exquisite locally produced prosciutto with fresh buffalo mozzarella. Great bread, too. Pleasant atmosphere.
