My wife and I spent five wonderful days at The Inn at Lost Creek in Mountain Village. The hotel staff was very helpful when called in late May to get us just the right room with the right amenities. From our arrival on Sunday, we were enthusiastically greeted by the front desk folks as well as an attendant to handle our luggage and park our car (no self-park available at the hotel though retrieval was very fast). The check-in process was very painless and we were given a quick tour of the hotel and surroundings as well as an introduction to the cookies and fruit available in the lobby. Our room was a junior suite with a full size balcony facing West. We asked for mountain views and were not disappointed - Wilson Peak is beautiful! We found the amenities of the junior suit just perfect and just the right size for the two of us and the orchids we found each day a nice touch. The kitchen was spacious enough for us and had a Keurig Coffee maker, two burner stove, microwave, small refrigerator, sink with garbage disposal, and limited storage for food. While we didn't use the stove top, was nice to have the microwave and of course, the coffee maker. The maids were very accommodating with the number and type of K-Cups based no our taste and consumption. The queen bed was very soft with many pillows. Flat screen TVs in both the living and bed rooms. There was plenty of storage – both for large, hang-up articles as well as folded items in drawers in both the bedroom as well as bathroom. The steam shower was nice though I could really see this being particularly pleasing after a cold day of skiing. My wife and I also enjoyed a nice soak in one of two hot tubs available on the roof by reservation only. While the suite did have a gas fireplace, we used it only once…after we were caught in the rain returning from one of our many hikes. Otherwise, the climate control in the room was very easy to adjust. The room also had a compact washer and dryer located in the bathroom. Maid service was very accommodating and while the “turn-down” service was a real treat, literally with more small more orchids, chocolates, and cookies, not to mention a refresh of towels, etc., it came at an hour (around 6PM) when we were sometimes in the room. The complimentary breakfast was nice – a small buffet as well as a small menu if you prefer something not on the buffet. Unfortunately, we didn't get an opportunity to try out the restaurant or bar other than breakfast. As the elevators open into the lobby, across from the front desk, we were always greeted with a “Hello”, “Good Morning”, or “How can I Help?” when we stepped out. Everyone was kind, friendly, and highly anxious to help us at any time. The rear of the hotel opens up to one of many slopes along with a short walk to all the Mountain Village shops and of course, the free Gondola. Within minutes you could be at the grocery or over the mountain and into the bustling town of Telluride. We took advantage of the Gondola often. In fact, our car came out only once and that was to drive to the base of Bridal Veil Falls for a hike. We found that most attractions at both Mountain Village and in Telluride, via the Gondola, were well within easy walking distances. Thanks for making this week very exciting!

I always enter a hotel with some trepidation alert for what is not going to be right - there is no need for that here as they go out of their way to make your stay memorable. We highly recommend the Inn and will be back soon with other members of the family. Thanks for remembering that people do matter even when I am sure that is not always an easy task.

My wife and i took advantage of our kids being out of town for Baseball tournament. i took advise
of readers on The Inn at Lost Creek and was very happy with our choice. We arrived after a 6 plus hour drive and were greeted at the door with our luggage taken care of a quick signatures and the Valet took the car to the garage, it was time to relax and have a drink.. We met Shane and he took
the time to tell us everything about the hotel, a quick overview of the village and the gondola a two minute walk that takes you over the mountain and to the town of Telluride..
This Inn was very nice, clean and staff very friendly . I would recommend this place to anyone
that wants a good price for a nice room and great staff..

While we have lived in Colorado for six years, we never visited Telluride and decided on the spur of the moment to visit there. What an incredibly wonderful experience it was! Our stay at The Inn at Lost Creek was definitely the highlight of the trip and an exceptional value. The studio room we occupied was impeccably clean and contained every amenity you could possibly want including evening turn down service with chocolates on the night stand. The bathroom was quite large with a great shower. The Thai-Fusion restaurant on site had wonderful food and the Tapas menu was perfect for anyone who might be feeling the effects of the high altitude and preferred a lighter menu. What a delightful surprise it was to find out that breakfast was included in the room rate. Not only did that include an above average buffet but specialty items on the menu prepared to order. It's location just yards from the free gondola allowed us the opportunity to go into town to shop or just ride the gondola to enjoy the sunset. Best of all however, was the personal attention given us by Garrett, the valet, who introduced us to the hotel and gave us such personal attention during our stay. Laura and Brett, who worked the front desk, were also very helpful and personable. My husband and I can really say we have never stayed at a place that we enjoyed more that this one.

Room Tip: The studio rooms are small but a great value and well suited for a couple.

Our off-season visit made the stay here very reasonable for the kind of high end hotel we wouldn't usually book. The staff (especially Charley and Linda) was unfailingly friendly and helpful, about the hotel, the town, hikes, etc. We had a 6th floor room with a high ceiling which was bright and spacious. Our friend had a room in a lower floor in a corner with far fewer windows and a flat ceiling, making it dark and not nearly as lovely. Breakfast on the terrace was a fabulous way to start the day, the bar and restaurant were great, and the spa at the end of the day capped it all off.
