What a setting - terrace overlooking the river in the shadow of the ancient chateau in a Plus Beaux Village.
The only downside is that they are only open from around the middle of June to early September.
The owner Manu does front of house and buys only the very best produce from local sources.
If you order a salad as a starter beware as they are big enough for a main or could be shared by two.
And the chef's creme brulee was the best I have had in the whole of France. The starter of plat de charcuterie is great. I could happily eat here day after day but dread to think what it would do for my waistline.
No parking but the village car park is just on the other side of the river so only a short stagger!
Sadly the chateau is private so you can't visit it but there are some wonderful old buildings in the village and it has not been tweed up like so many others.
Booking is a good idea especially to eat on the terrace.
It has the cutest WC - it's an old pigeonnier in the garden.
