Description: Built in 1590, the Queen’s Head is a charming and stylish country pub in the picturesque village of Boughton-under-Blean with a warm atmosphere and excellent food and ale. Visitors can relax in the lounge by an open fire in the winter, enjoy a meal in the comfortable restaurant or soak up the sun on the veranda looking out over the pleasant garden during the summer. The Queen’s Head serves a delicious selection of freshly-prepared bar snacks and homemade dishes, with a blackboard of daily specials all of which you will find great value, as well as serving traditional cask ales, distinctive international lagers and a wide choice of good wines from independent producers around the world. We pride ourselves on being a “pub restaurant” in the best sense of both words, a real pub with a comprehensive range of wines and cask ales, but with the space, atmosphere and quality of food that makes us an ideal location for any occasion. Whether it is a family get together, a special celebration, a great value meal out when you don’t feel like cooking or even just a drink with friends, you will find a warm welcome at the Queen’s Head.Dogs – goats – chickens - alpacas, oh, and of course children are welcome! As we are a child and dog friendly pub we will be pleased to welcome all the family (even granny). To make your family time with us more enjoyable, we are pleased to provide for your use baby changing facilities, highchairs, water bowls and dog biscuits.

Fabulous food , we were made very welcome in the bar as we had Bramble the spaniel who was offered water and a biscuit. Menu is excellent and they have their own smokery...

The food wasn't great it was ok, the staff were nice my food came out not to a great standard due to the presentation. I thought for the portion size the food was priced up a bit to much.

Dave and all the staff at The Queen's Head did a fantastic job in providing a fabulous BBQ, along with an excellent venue for a celebration such as ours last Saturday....all dietary requirement catered for. We were able to have the exclusive use of the facilities for our party for 100 people, with ample space both inside and out. For the children there was a climbing frame, and bat and trap, whilst the adults could sit in the garden, which was beautifully tendered. I would highly recommend The Queen's Head, for a party such as ours, or just for a quiet meal. Thank you Dave and all the staff - you did an amazing job! Best wishes. Jo

We were invited to the queens Head on Saturday with about 100 others to help celebrate Jo's ordination. From the very start we were made most welcome- the staff were so friendly and helpful.
The BBQ was delicious and appeared to be available all afternoon. The garden was lovely and beautifully kept. Credit to the gardener. We hardly saw the children as they had a large safe play area at one end of the garden and had a wonderful time. Thank you to all the staff for making us all so welcome.

We cannot recommend David and his staff highly enough. Always striving for customer satisfaction. David always comes out of the kitchen after the end of service and asks us how we enjoyed our meal and what aspects of the meal he can improve on. My husband and I find every meal we have had there exceptional although each one surpasses the previous one! The "Firecracker Calamari" is the best squid dish I have ever tasted. Pork dishes are the signature dishes and are sourced locally. They are particularly good. Attention to detail does not go unnoticed, the unique menus personal to the Queens Head and her sister Pub, The Anchor in Faversham have been painstakingly designed and regularly updated, providing entertainment whilst waiting for your meal to arrive. The bar staff are equally conscientious and friendly making the whole experience of visiting the Queens Head thoroughly enjoyable and memorable.
