“Magnificent Views”
Reviewed June 26, 2014

We were staying at La Fenice and the owner suggested we have dinner here. A driver was sent from the restaurant to pick us up. The ride up the mountain was an adventure and the views from the restaurant were breathtaking. The restaurant owner and staff were very accommodating and even entertained the guests by singing a few songs which everyone enjoyed. They have gardens on site so there were plenty of fresh vegetables to go with the meal. I would rate this an 8 out of 10 for food and 10 out of 10 for service and atmosphere.

I will definitely go back.

“Fabulous!”
Reviewed June 24, 2014

Great views, great food--my husband was skeptical about going so far up to a restaurant when there were plenty of good places we could walk to..they pick you up in a shuttle and take you wwwaaayyyy up the mountain. The ride itself is an adventure. The restaurant is lovely and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. My husband had a filet and I had a pasta dish with olives, capers and fresh tomatoes. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. The appetizers they give you--a delicately fried zucchini flower and bruschetta --were very good. We ordered the grilled veggies from their local garden as a starter and they were great! We had our hotel set up our reservation and I am so glad we were ably to eat at this wonderful place!

We had dinner here following a recommendation from our hotel. Scary drive up the hills however I think the view from the restaurant if you went in daylight would be worth the trip. The food however was not. The prawns I ordered were rather tasteless and the green salad was nothing more than a plate of iceberg lettuce. Service was also on the slow side and was not helped by two of the staff breaking off to perform 3-4 songs, one singing and one playing a saxophone. All very bizarre and rather awkward. The complimentary glass of Prosecco and appetisers were a nice touch however.
