“Amazing place for a family event”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

If you are looking for a place where you can enjoy the typical food from the south of Italy, and if you have a special concern about the quality of food, please continue reading.

Due to the weather we had an incident with our weeding and we couldn´t do what we had planned. As our guest list was short, no more than 20 people, we found this restaurant the day before and from the very first contact we felt relieved with the security Francesco gave us.
We searched for something beautiful, original, good food and km zero (few guest but very demanding regarding food), and La Terra exceed all our expectations, even giving a 24 hour notice to organize the celebration of our weeding, the feedback from our guests couldn´t be better. The food was absolutely amazing, very flavored with the ingredients of their own kitchen garden and our guests were stunned with the view above Positano.
Over all, great food, great view and great service. If you are planning to visit Positano, this restaurant should be a “Must” on your list.

Nice people , good food ... Solid choice of restaurant. Off the beat and path of all the touristic places on the beach.

“Outstanding view, ok food.”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about with this restaurant. We visited in June as a family and were really looking forward to it based on a recommendation. The view is to die for and it's worth visiting just to experience it. The food, however, was average. My son ordered the veal and it was covered in a gelatinous gravy and looked like something from Luby's. We ordered seafood pasta and gnocchi and it was good, not great. I would go there for some wine and appetizers to enjoy the view, and then eat dinner somewhere else.

“Breathtaking Meal in Positano”
Reviewed July 27, 2013

The quality and quantity of the food from La Terra was phenomenal! They brought us a mixed fruit salad that was to die for. They brought us and appetizer form the chef of bruschetta and little fried dough balls that were really good. My daughter and I had two different preparations of snapper, hers was grilled and mine came in a lemon sauce, both were good, but my daughters was exceptional! The meal was quite expensive but still worth it!

Reviewed July 25, 2013

We booked before arriving to Amalfi coast based on tripadvisor revues and it was the best service and food ever without ignoring the view and the weather.....the fish is so fresh and tasty ...the vegetables have organic taste ...Francesco the owner is so friendly and helpfull . He has a shuttle bus from positano to the restaurant and it's for free. The home wine is sooooo tasty. U can have best view of the coast... So recommended no doubt at all. Loved the place cheers.
