We stayed at Villa degli Dei for 3 nights and we had a great time! The room is very nice, and the view is just stunning, it was amazing to wake up every day to this scenery. Pascale, the owner, received us very well! He picked up us at the centre of Positano and took us all the way up to Nocelle past check-in time.

There are buses from Nocelle to Positano every hour or so but to be comfortably here you need a car or a scooter. There are a couple restaurants in town, which we can highly recommend the Pizzeria degli Dei, with great pizzas and another stunning view!

Overall it was a great experience!!

This place has everything a guests needs when on holiday: a terrace with a sea view, air conditioning, compact kitchenette and free WiFi.
A grocery store is a 3-minute walk and drinking water is right behind the gate. Positano is a 30-minute bus ride but if you don't want to depend on them you can rent a Vespa.

The place is 40 min on the bus from centre of Positano. There is one bus every hour, traffic is atrocious, not the drivers's fault, but the view from up there is heaven.

Yes there are stairs, but to wake up and go to bed with that kind of view for us was all worth it. And then for 20 eur to get somebody to carry your suitcases really is not a lot. The walk of gods starts right there, literally in front of the villa's gate.
The villa is very nice, in good shape. And staff is nice too, all info is given or can be asked thereafter.

Or shower blocked for example, one email to the staff, 20 min later somebody wasalready knocking at the door.
There is also a supermarket next door, and a very nice restaurant, santa croce, with the same heavenly view.

The place is perfect for somebody who doesn't want to stay in positano, which is mady busy and noisy.
A bit of organisation with the bus (and a backpack to avoid the suitcase on the stairs) and you could enjoy a fantasti view just sitting in bed!!!

I gave it 4stars because the air condition unit was wobbly. Just like every where else in Italy

Room Tip: Get sea view

My daughter and I loved Nocelle. It was a bit difficult to get there with our luggage. Luckily, after we made it to Eden Rock (this is where you check in), Pasquale saved us and took us the rest of the way to the Villa, helping with our luggage. We loved the location of the Villa. It was fun being that high up on the mountain with nothing but a few locals around us. We adored the two restaurants and thought the bus ride down to Positano each day was a great adventure. This is a great place to stay if you adore a great view and don't mind being far from the touristy areas. This adorable tiny town (and Positano) was the highlight of our monthlong stay in Italy.

If you take the ferry into Positano, pay a luggage porter to take care of your luggage. It's $10 per bag and well worth it! We took our luggage up to check in at Eden Rock ourselves and it was too far, too hot, too frustrating!

To be honest knowing the family of the famous Eden Rock hotel owned these villas was a huge selling point for us and we went disappointed. Nocelle is another 25 minutes up the hill and directly above Positano and it is stunning! Yes there are certainly a lot of stairs but well worth it. It's Positano, it's on a cliff and that my friends is the beauty. Staying in Nocelle is like taking a walk back in time, it is a small hidden family town hidden away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. We were greeted by Dominic who graciously showed us via scooter (U.S. Following behind in the car) how to get to our Villa, he also organised our parking with a neighbour for 15 Euro per day in a locked safe car park with our own key to come and go as we please. He then carried my HUGE suitcase to the top room of the villa (for free so not sure what the last review was about) the view was spectacular, the room was air conditioned and there was a fly screen over the balcony door so we had the pleasure of sleeping with the door open all night and no mozzie bites. There is a small kitchenette with two hot plates so to save cash we bought groceries from the tiny little super market near out Villa and enjoyed eggs, fresh garden tomatoes and fresh bread every morning from the comfort of our gorgeous balcony. We walked to Positano from our Villa one of the nights, it's about 25min down and a 35 euro cab ride home when your done exploring Positano. The room is big, clean and charming. For the price per night it was beyond expectations. A must to stay when settling in Positano for a few days with a car. Remember it is a drive away so be prepared to travel or catch the bus down the hill when wanting to explore Sorrento. Busses leave at 50 min past the hour every hour as an FYI.
Enjoy this gorgeous place - we did x
