Spacious living room. Good cook conditions. Total calm. Nearby public transport. Hiking through the surrounding countryside. The owners live the house next door and are very friendly.
we were there for two days it was like a home we cooked our own breakfast there is enough vessel to cook a meal for 5 there is a shop at 5 min walk and restaurant at 15 min walkable distance
if you are coming in car this place is awesome to stay at a very cheaper price
Very good to stay in comparable rate. The surrounding is very beautiful. It is some what in remote place but very calm & quit. The host are very good . All facilities such as gas.utencials are there for preparation of tea & light breakfast .
This is a simply furnished but spotlessly clean Portuguese-Goan house. The hosts are very warm and make a big effort to be helpful. They came into town to meet me and guide me to the house. I believe this is the only place to stay in Chandor, a town which has two important Portuguese historical homes open to the public, so it is conveniently situated for that. The house is about a mile from the center of town but the walk, alongside rice fields, is pretty and peaceful. But Chandor itself is lacking in good restaurants or even well-stocked shops to buy groceries and this rental house, although it has a kitchen, is not well equipped for cooking. This rental has two bedrooms and two baths and so can accommodate quite a few guests. It is perhaps a bit large for a solo traveler.
