My wife and I went to this little wildlife park. The entry price was well worth it, considering how close you get to the animals.

There are shows that are really informative and interesting. The staff are friendly and welcoming and started conversations with us about the animals we were looking at.

Be sure to get here early for the fur, feathers and scales show. Straight afterwards the nocturnal area opens up. So be sure to head over to it to see some cute animals up close.
The platypus was super cute, she kept us entertained for ages.

This little park has everything you need, a good selection of animals and a great staff to educate and inform.

It is a must for everyone.

Such a lovely place, the chance to see native animals in beautiful enclosures being cared for by veryinformative and friendly staff. We also ate here which was very cheap and lovely. Must do if you love searching for animals in every direction in natural habitat and love places with a focus on conservation.

Was not too sure about visiting here but glad we did, it was great, and our first sighting of beavered dragons in the wild, after that we saw them everywhere.
Very uncommercial used which also made it a pleasure to visit.
Well worth taking half a day to see.

We have lived on the Gold Coast for 3 + years and visiting the GC since 2007 and this is the first time we have visited.

It is well laid out and uncommercialised which is great for us as there weren't too many people.

We wanted to purchase a yearly annual ticket for $38.90 but the assistant said I will sell you a normal ticket and you can upgrade at the end of the visit, however you can only come in twice on the yearly ticket.....So we didn't upgrade, do not see the point in only being able to visit twice, we are often down at Burleigh and if we had an hour or two we would have loved to drop in and take some photos - ah well their loss.

We enjoy wandering thru David Fleay Wildlife Park, we like the board walks and the big enclosures, lots of shade and natural environment for the animals.
