we got to the hotel very soon after and we had a very warm welcom from the recieption
staff. for the next four days each and every one of the staff couldnt do enough for us, anytime of the day or night. i could go on and on about how well we were looked after, but ill leave you experience it for yourselves. you wont be disappointed. i will go back there again one day thank you seven oaks hotel.

stayed five days four nights in Carlow at Seven Oaks Hotel. The hotel is first class. Great rooms, large and clean. food excellent [only complaint meals too large] and plenty of choice. The staff were fantastic, friendly, with the irish sence of humour and nothing was too much trouble for the. enjoyed days out in Carlow, Avoca [BallyK] Dublin, Kilkenny and many smaller places. Everything brilliant.

My fiance and I travelled with Diamond Coach Holidays from Swansea..
Our coach party was met by the Duty Manager upon Arrival and Departure.
Our bedroom was spacious, clean, and comfortable,
The quality of the food was excellent, and the staff went out of their way to ensure that my fiance (who is a picky vegetarian) was accommodated.
We also made use of the free leisure facilities, the swimming pool, sauna, steam room, etc were brilliant to unwind in at the end of each day's excursion, the pool in particular because it is 1.2 metres deep throughout, and my fiance found this a blessing.
There was a good mix of people using the hotel, including an Irish Hurling Team.
I am 57 and my fiance is 53.

Stayed in the hotel for 5 nights on a golf trip with friends.
We were made very welcome from the beginning of our stay.
The room was large with lots of room to move about with tea and coffie and biscuits renewed every day. The room was cleaned made up every day and was spic and span.
The food was everything you could ask for served with a smile and nothing was to much trouble the restraunt was full most nights with locals a very good sign of good value.
After our golf we were able to relax in the swimming pool, sauna or steam room, or the jacuzzi.
Five minutes walk to centre of town or €5 in taxi.
We have already decided to have another golf break in the Seven Oaks.
I would like to thank all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

What a disappointment.
When I heard people had there Wedding reception in this hotel I thought oh wow, must be decent enough.
Well I cannot imagine having a reception here, no way would I allow family pay for a room here. I would be embarrassed to be honest.
I had second thoughts from the moment I hung up the phone from reservations. Rude staff, ( I put it down to a late night booking how wrong I was)
We arrived for a 4pm check in. 4pm ??? 3pm is late enough. 4pm ? How slow are the staff in this place?
This hotel is right along the main road to Athy. You can easily hear traffic from the rooms. Windows are single pain of glass.
Bedrooms are outdated with mahogony finnish throughout. Furniture in the room is old and worn.
The staff made us feel unwelcomed. We asked questions about where to go? What time breakfast was at and were just made feel like we were an annoyance.
We went to the resturant for dinner, resturant is like an old pub, with booths. Nothing formal about the place. The food was awful,we had one meal included, lucky it was only one meal.
Undercooked food, chips served to the kids you would get from the local chipper. One word - Greasy. Complaining about the food, we did. But were made feel like we were wrong for doing so. Staff became snotty almost immediately.
Even upon paying for our meal, two staff bi*ching about customers. Walking out there door, I was just waiting for them to start talking about us.
Unprofessional and childish behaviour from women in there 40's.
Needless to stay we wont be back ever.
