Did know what to expect driving through an industrial estate to get here but what a fabulous place. A little bit of paradise. Would highly recommend a visit.

Having stayed overnight in Mount Wolseley, a surprise gift to me from Barbara who accompanied me, we decided to take in more bit of sightseeing. She found the sensory gardens in some booklet and suggested that we go.
Beautiful day, we expected to find the sensory gardens out in the country run by some hippie relics from Holland. Imagine our surprise when the signs directed us into strawhall industrial estate. And not just into it, right down at the back of it. Not looking good. However, once we arrived the surprise was well worth it. This is a magnificent piece of work. The diversity of the 20 odd gardens is amazing. The fact that it is in an industrial estate attached to a day care centre is in itself a sensory overload but the whole experience is uplifting. One of the guys looking after the place told us that it used to be a piece of waste ground and the person in charge of the day care centre decided that he wanted a nice garden for the day care attendees to relax. I think he has created a real piece of magic. If this were in the Bronx bus tours would run to it.
Well done to all concerned.

There is something for everyone at this amazing place. we brought our two grandchildren who are usually difficult to please but they really enjoyed it. The music room is so amazing and relaxing I did not want to leave.
