This was an interesting sight for us, although it is literally a large rock and some smaller rock piles, it is fun to speculate what was really gone on there and how they got everything to stay in place.

this is a hidden gem in carlow. I know it is all over the town that everything is named after the Dolmen but seriously I don't think that many people actually get up to see it. and it is great, it's pure history, in great condition and a nice walk way up to it.

It's a nice place to see and walk around but don't expect to spend time there, give yourself 15 mins unless its a very sunny day

Well worth a visit, easy parking and short walk along a tarmadam path. Its suitable for buggies and there are benches to sit down and marvel at its size.
