“Great for early flight.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2014 via mobile

Stayed here for one night before flight next day. Very spacious room, huge bed, spotlessly clean. Room on the cold side when we first arrived. Staff helpful, but seemed to take a while to book in even though we had prepaid for the room and breakfast in full. Good food in restaurant, had to wait a while at lunchtime to get served at the bar. Would return and recommend if you are catching a flight.

The hotel is in a lovely building in the Somerset countryside. While this makes it a great place to veg out and relax, it's not so good if you want to get around and don't have your own car. The taxi fare from the airport and then into Bristol the next morning more than doubled the cost.

Lovely location, the views are beautiful countryside. We have never had a bad experience, friendly and helpful service from the staff, and always with a smile. Good value for money, the bar prices are also fair.

Good inexpensive hotel close to Bristol Airport, we arrived after dark so couldn't see too much of the outside but what we could see looked great. The room (15) was on the first floor and there is no lift, but the night porter carried our luggage up the one flight of stairs for us. Check in was quick and easy, the room was very large with a huge comfortable bed. The only down side like most hotels that are part of large chains, the bathroom was tiny. We didn't have time for breakfast as we had an early flight to catch, would stay again in similar circumstances.

First have to say that this hotel is not at the airport. We booked thinking it was but it is a 15 minute taxi ride.

It is also not near a station if you are travelling by train. We were advised the Weston-super-Mare was the closest. If you use this, the station does not appear to have a taxi rank so book in advance. We used 07971 928279 which produced a prompt and cheerful driver.

Having said all this the hotel has all the usual Premier Inn facilities but more character than most.

The associated pub in particular had a good atmosphere and served above average food. It even had real ale from a hand pump.

All the staff, both in the hotel and restaurant were particularly attentive.

We were very comfortable.

We would stay there again, even if not flying it is in a beautiful area.

Excellent
Such friendly staff, very helpful, good food . Very near the airport, such a good stay for just overnight, or as long as you need. I would use this premier inn over and over again. A over all comfortable stay
