It's a really nice thing these days when you can actually get to view a decent sized waterfall without paying an entrance fee. I was impressed at what was available here..many viewing platforms, fun looking kletter steig and massive hanging staircase. Unfortunately we only made it to the first platform as we didn't check the hike distance and had a tired 2 year old and no buggy! But it all looked great. Hike is about half an hour uphill to first platform, then continues more steeply to other platforms and staircase.

Highest waterfall of Austria, accesible via a klettersteig/via ferrata or ‘just’ a giant staircase. Both not for the fainthearted, the first a ‘bit’ more than the second. Free of charge!

An impressive waterfall in the middle of forests. A water drooping and falling to a depth of 160m. There is a system of trails and bridges around that provide the best view of the waterfall.

Absolutely worth to climb up to Platform 5 - fantastic! Gigantic waterfall and spectacular view from up above.

I don't know who thought it was a good idea to construct a huge staircase going down by the side of this waterfall - they should have left it alone - the staircase is an ugly blot on the landscape and spoils the view of the waterfall from the bottom.

Great and short walk if you come from on top if the fall.
There is a bug parking place next the the guest house at the top. The trail starts from over there, and so you reach the fall from on top of it.

The view is worth it. Great view with a cozy atmosphere. Kids enjoy it big time. Bear in mind, there is a lot of walking here. A lot !!

Did the via Ferrata there. An easy one but really really really busy in summertime. Was a nice one with a great view at the waterfall. Would recommend it but at an other time of year.

Pass the big parking on your left and keep driving up untill you see gasthof on your left. Find a parking and 5 minutes walk will get you to the top of the waterfall, go down as much as you like..
Beautiful views and the construction of the stairs is amazing, makes you feel close to nature

From parking, depending upon your pace, it might take around 30-45 minutes to reach the waterfall. Walking passage is very nice except the last few hundred meters where it is pretty steep and rough, not suitable for stroller. It was a lovely experience and you would love being there as well..
