Beautiful property with such a warm welcome from Felicity & David. For us the 'welcome pack' was just the absolute best. Very cozy cabins with great views. We stayed in the Rainster and thoroughly enjoyed having the animals & horses in our view as we woke and lazed about. Very peaceful. Easy access to all the hiking trails and small villages if you'd like to explore (a wealth of info in files compiled by Felicity). For those of you who enjoy baking & cooking - you have all you need to get creative in the kitchen! Also the eco concept behind the whole set-up works for us. We'll certainly be back.
Something extra: There's a lovely little jungle gym/play area for those of you with children. Very family friendly.

We were a large group from Malta visiting Hoe Grange for a week this new year, accomodated in the Hipley and Pinder cabins. The cabins were amazing, lovely, cozy and to very high standards. Everything you could possibly need we would find in the cabin. We must admit that the best part of our holidays was always the time we spent cozy in the cabin every evening. The joyous christmas feeling was felt upon entering the cabin, with the lit up christmas tree, the pre-set dinner table with the food package and the bottle of champagne. We truly enjoyed every minute. The area is peaceful and a it was a great joy seeing the animals in the working farm. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful. Acessibility was perfect for my wheelchair bound sister making this holiday so much easier for her than any other. We will surely be back to Hoe Grange. Thanks so much for your hospitality. Keep up the good work.

From the first telephone call to make a booking, to the moment we left Hoe Grange, we had unsurpassed kindness, support and service from David and Felicity. The standard of the premises, furniture, utensils et al were excellent. The only downside was we overloaded our vehicle with so much that we thought we would need but in fact everything required and more, was provided.

The location is very central for visiting many places of interest.

This was a truly lovely experience ... Thank You.

Thank you both for the lovely review - we agree the scenery and tranquility is heavenly here at Hoe Grange, but glad you found our cabins heavenly too! We look forward to welcoming you back soon so John can try out our new Boma 7 off-roader.

We are a family of 12 adults and 2 kids. Five members of the family reside in the UK, the rest coming from Malta. We wanted accommodation in the Peak District, close to everything, but not too close...somewhere nice and secluded...where we could spend the New Year. We couldn't have found a better place! We rented two cabins, both impeccably kept. On checking in, we found the place already decorated with fairy lights, christmas tree and tinsels, so we didn't bother to unpack the decorations we brought with us. The table was beautifully laid out with decorative plates, cuttlery, christmas crackers and a lovely centre piece! There was also milk, eggs, butter, and bread which had just been out of the oven. For some members of the party that had travelled from Malta to Manchester to the cabins, one can only imagine how grateful we were for these provisions. Being a working farm with the owners living on the land, we thought we would not be allowed complete privacy. On the contrary, Felicity and David made sure we lacked for nothing and only turned up to meet the rest of the party on one occasion during our stay there. Having one member of the family wheel-chair bound, they gave us full authorisation to move furniture around to accommodate our needs, even from one cabin to another. We didn't have to as both cabins have full accessibility for people with limited mobility. Although one of the cabins sleeps between 6 and 8, enough cuttlery is provided for 12 persons, so here again, we ate in one cabin without the need to move plates and stuff. The surrounding area is fabulous for trekking or walking and although the weather was not extremely kind to us...we weren't expecting any better at this time of year...we enjoyed watching the horses, cows and sheep grazing on the meadows! The only thing that preoccupied us was the erratic mobile and wifi connections. Wifi in the evening is rather unstable but we knew about this so it did not bother us unduly. We are all agreed that this was one memorable holiday.

We had a Monday to Friday stay in Daisybank & what lovely cosy cabin it is, the weather was misty & cold but we were snug inside, the optional full English breakfast was delish & well worth the cost. Hoe Grange is a perfect base for visiting the attractions & beauty sots in the area. I am a full time wheelchair user & all areas of Daisybank were accessible, the profile bed was a great help, but a profiling & lifting bed would be a suggestion. Overall 10/10.

Thank you for your wonderful comments and photos. Glad you enjoyed your take away breakfasts - it's a treat not to have to cook. Whilst we don't have a lifting profile bed ourselves we can hire one in for your next visit, just let us when you book.

It was quiet. It was relaxing. It was great. And it was during half term, when most of the world seems to be going mad. For me the biggest compliment is how many other people have reviewed Hoe Grange, because we had the feeling that we were the first ever guests, that no one would know about the peaceful haven and that we would be able to book it whenever we wanted!

Beautiful lodges, welcoming hosts and great place to spend a few days with the family.

Thank you!

Hoe Grange was a perfect find when looking for accessible property in the Peak District. Active wheelchair users enjoyed an easy living week away among friends, total inclusivity. David and Felicity could not have done more to help us, lots to do on the doorstep, and we managed to enable one guest to reach the high peak Trail through the two fields with a "Freewheel" . We climbed at Harborough Rocks, sailed at Carsington, cycled walked and shopped, perfect. Excellently equipped for self catering and comfortably furnished. Bound to be back.
