Delightful venue altogether. This is a small restaurant within Scotland Nurseries, Riber, Matlock, in itself worth a visit. I went for lunch on a terribly wet Sunday in January when roads were flooded and visibility was poor. I've visited before on several occasions when it has always been well patronised. Today, however, in view of the weather I'd expected it to be quiet but the place was buzzing with people. There is a pleasingly comprehensive menu with full roast dinner, pie, fish, various other options including vegetarian choices, light meals and desserts/cake. The food was delicious - congratulations to the chef. If you are wanting to visit for a special Sunday celebration, make sure to book in advance or you may not get a table at the time you visit. One point which may be important to some visitors is that there are a few steps down to the counter to place your order. However, tables are located both in the area at the top and at the bottom of the steps.
