The staff was so friendly and the hotel really nice. Very nice terrace and restaurant. Close to the beach and the wine yards. Nice breakfast and good prices if you consider the areas normal prices. Really nice beds! And lots of help from the reception.

We booked this hotel to have a spot in the wine area from which we easily could walk around and visit the villages nearby. When we arrive the check in was really quick and we got offered a huge load of recommendations and ideas on what to do during the next day. We appreciated this very much and want to thank the receptionist who is a great local ambassador.
The room is spacious and well equipped. The view is great while lying in the bed. As the hotel is close to the street you have to except some noise, but the good windows bring that down to a acceptable level. I was more disturbed by the noise going on outside out room meaning the other people leaving at 7 in the morning and cleaning noise that started rather early as well.

Stayed here in a group, and they handled it all very well. Most all the staff were very friendly and attentive to any requests. The rooms are spectacular, very modern, well laid out, plenty of outlets to recharge your stuff without hunting under the bed. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom clean, modern, and efficient.
I scored the lake view side, which is spectacular. Others looked out onto the vineyards side and weren't so thrilled. As noted, there are a lot of trains passing nearby, both passenger and freight, but when I closed the window I heard none of the noise at all. Well done!
They put our group downstairs in the wine cellar area for breakfast, which was the only negative, as the choices were pretty slim. However, many of us had a dinner in the main dining room, where they did a great job, and the food was well prepared.

Room Tip: Lakeside is better than vineyard side!

Many reasons to stay there: the food in the restaurant is great, the view is breathtaking, the rooms are modern and comfortable and the staff very friendly and attentive.

The location is both an asset and a drawback. It allows the perfect view, it's convenient if you drive and there is a train station 3 minutes walk away. Now there only one train per hour and it's "in the middle of nowhere": there is nothing close by (like other restaurants to walk to) and the center of Lausanne is 15-20 minutes away (at least). There is also a bus twice per hour.
So depending on what you are looking for, it may the perfect spot (f.e. overnight during a Switzerland tour), for a company retreat/brainstorm, romantic week-end, if you value breathtaking views -- or way too remote (business in the center of Lausanne).
In between the hotel and the lake there is a road (sparse traffic at night) and a railroad, but the soundproofing is very good (with windows closed) so it's not a problem to sleep.

The rooms are white on white on white which some may find a bit bland and clinical, and it's very sparsely furnished in white metal furniture. There is a small desk, but not one you could work an afternoon on. Bed is comfy but king/queen is assembled from 2 single beds. Carpet is very thin, a plusher one would have afforded better comfort and acoustics. Terraces look great but have no privacy and you have a nice view into neighboring rooms from them - in summer this may be an issue.

Room Tip: There is apparently a room with a view on the back - it's a little bit quieter but should be avoided as the best feature of the property is the view!

It was a nice place, I booked it coz I wanted something between Lausanne and Montreux, so I have easy access to both places. It was, but it is a bit too quiet around it. Enjoyed the vineyards, had a small hike of few hours there...

The only thing that I did not like was that they don't really have double beds, they put twin beds with one single cover on them, so it was not super comfortable. But in total, it was a nice experience...
