Very well appointed, large and comfortable room with upscale bath. Internet, cable, etc. all worked perfectly. Staff very helpful, well run, very clean, good breakfast. One minute walk to the lake. Did not eat at the restaurant.

We found the place in a rainy evening after looking for some time for a decent dinner and been harassed by lack of parking facilities in most of the large villages and towns of the area. The restaurant is located in an old hotel endowed with much patina. Food is French and it offers you a special and comfortable evening spent in a special environment. The food is delicious, the service outstanding and the prices acceptable. What else do you expect for an enjoyable evening?

The hotel has lovely spacious rooms in an elegant old style, which does not mean that things don't work, they do! The restaurant good, to be recommended is the menu de degustation which is value for money. The breakfast (included in the room rate) is not extensive, juice pastries and bread and jam.

We were looking for an hotel near the lake of Geneva, in a peaceful setting, near the towns of Lausanne and Montreux, easy to travel from and to, and settled for the Auberge du raisin in Cully. It is absolutely charming, on a lovely little square very near the lake. As soon as we walked in, we knew that we had done the right choice. The train station is a short walk away, so we could leave our car there and travel everywhere without worrying about parking. The hotel was so peaceful, especially at night. The food is really superb. There is a delicious breakfast with everything baked freshly on site, and lunch was just delicious. We toured the kitchen and were really impressed. Service was excellent. A lovely girl showed us to our room and although we had to manoeuvre because they are refurbishing some rooms, it was quiet and very clean.
We would definitely recommend this hotel for amateurs of great food who want to spend some quiet time by the lake in a lovely little village.

The hotel had everything we were expecting: Good service, comfortable rooms and very convenient location. The surroundings are so typical, so close to lake Geneva, it's like a fairy tale! The hotel is so charming and the restaurant is really delicious. Highly recommend it!

Nice hotel in excellent location with bad service.

We booked the hotel for a night from Saturday to Sunday via one of the online booking portals. When we arrived in the evening, there was no "welcome" whatsoever but the receptionist seemed to be annoyed actually having to check us in and one of the first things he says was that we absolutely have to check out until 10.30 the next day. That was a surprise as our confirmation read 12 o'clock.

Anyhow, came next morning, a phone call wakes us up at 9.30 urging us to get up so we are not late for check out and that breakfast will only be served until 10 am. Not good if your hotel documentation reads 10.30.

When checking out the hotel first wanted to charge me 30 ChF more than what I had on my reservation. No problem when I hinted at it they didn't charge the 30 additional ChF but I'm concerned that other guests may have to pay more than needed if they're not alert.

Too bad, the location of the hotel is superb, the place very clean and breakfast was great, so if they manage to kick out the bad staff this place could be awesome.

At first glance this hotel seems like a charming choice, with great amenities and location, but upon review sadly it fell short, very short. Where to begin. First, we were travelling with our infant son and were given a broken baby cot for him to sleep in - the metal bar was actually exposed and dangerous. At check in we were given an internet voucher for 24 hours, when we were booked to stay for two nights. We went to reception to get another voucher the following day, a Sunday, but the desk is dark and the reception closed, not a soul to be seen all day, so we were left internet-less and unable to do our online checkin for our flights. The reception, as I mentioned above, was completely closed on Sunday, there wasn't a hotel employee to be seen after the early morning breakfast. We had no amenities available in the room to prepare our son's meals and bottle - the room did not come equipped with a kettle and the used water glasses from the previous day had not been replaced with clean ones by housekeeping. We dined on Saturday night at the hotel's restaurant, which had no fish options available, despite telling us about them when we booked. We had a shortened meal because our son became ill midway through the main course, so we had to leave our table and not finish our dinner. At check out, we expressed our concerns about the Sunday service, etc. and the man at the desk listened and discussed it with us, he then presented our bill, which excluded the cost of the meal. We assumed that given the circumstances he had removed the meal as a courtesy and we were very thankful for his attention to our concerns and comments. Days later we received an email from the hotel claiming that we hadn't been charged for the meal and they asked if we would authorize them to charge the amount to our credit card. Before we had a chance to write back they had already run the amount through our card, WITHOUT our authorization. After a phone call with the manager nothing has been done to address any of our concerns and his did not seem bothered, or concerned by the unauthorized use of our credit card. Be warned if you stay here that the manager will not offer any solutions to your complaints and should you require any service of Sunday you should look elsewhere. We will not be recommending this hotel to friends and family and are very disappointed with the level of (non) service that we received. Poor service for a hotel with so much potential.

Room Tip: If you are travelling with a child make sure to bring your own baby cot.
