We stayed 4 nights in mid May. The grounds are lakefront and pretty with a garden and trees. Lounging area under the trees and on a small patio. Nice outside dining area along the lakefront, wasn’t able to enjoy as we encountered some raining days. The staff is very nice, the rooms are up to date, clean and comfortable. The lobby areas are very nice with grand staircase with stained glass windows. Food is very good!
There is a cable car within walking distance that takes you to Hinderbergen where there a paved trails and stunning views.
The dock for the boat is within walking distance, it is wonderful, inside seating, dining and very smooth ride. Takes you to multiple towns along the lake, including Lucern. One stop is the Transportation Museum, this is a top notch museum and it’s great for kids. More
