We had a great lunch at this bar . The choices though limited were excellent and the atmosphere was quirky and fun. "Punkabily"?. The ingredients were excellent the the service just right. Worth a special trip up the mountain.

Was in Leysin for a hockey tournament recently and had read about Station on Tripadvisor - but it looked as though we weren't going to get the time to try it so we dispatched some of the fans and once they came back we just had to find the time to get up there. Fortunately our schedule gave us a small window and we made the walk up (took a while but was nice to walk through the town, and at a nice slow pace admiring the view the whole way up). When we got there we walked in to the sound of Jazz playing at just the right volume and instantly loved the warm atmosphere. It's a small place, but everything about it instandly felt just right. The owner welcomed us and brought us over menus and started with a relaxing tongue in cheek comment of "hello there - if you don't like the jazz I don't care" which just had us laughing immediately - our sort of guy !
We had already decided on the reports we'd had to try either a burger or the chicken sandwich - of the 4 who decided on burgers 2 of us decided on the "Monster" which is toasted bun, burger, bacon, guacamole, cheese, lettuce, mushrooms, fried egg, tomato served with fries, coleslaw and more salad...the owner asked "are you sure" when we ordered it but we reassured him we'd be making short shrift of them.

Large glasses of cold lager to chase them down and we had a great meal - the food came out quickly and was spot on (I'd asked for no cheese due to an allergy) - juicy burger, all the accompaniments were great....running out of superlatives here.

Bill was reasonable for Swiss prices for 5 of us and we left for the (very slow as we were so full) trundle back to our hotel. If we were disappointed in any way it was because we only managed to eat there the once.

The owner even came down to watch some of the games the next day with his young son and we managed to spend time chatting to them - great guy - can totally recommend this establishment and now we're just praying that it's still there and with the same people running it when we go back for the tournament next year !.

This is a great place for a drink, or a casual meal. Great ambience! The clientele is mostly english speaking, but don't let that stop you cause there is plenty of french spoken as well. A nice place for a fun night out.

I'm normally quite apprehensive when a menu encompasses so many different styles of food b ut here it was all good, (well all that I tried anyways).

Japanese chicken, pizza and dips come particularly recommended and they have a nice selection of drinks to back it up. Perfect for a wind down after a day on the slopes.

Excellent international menu serving food all day long. Ranging from amazing burgers to gastro food its a must eat place in Leysin.
After the dinner we all had we stayed behind in the bar area and really enjoyed the band that was playing and drank a few off the international beers on tap and really nice mojitos.
Very good night.
