A small cozy hotel just right beside the lake. Wonderful view from a room and great service minded personnel, not so far from city centre. Much better than a lot of hotels in city where you don't get any value for the amount that you have payed for!

It is a very good option to budget-conscious travellers intended to stay in Zurich - accessible from the airport in 30 minutes, and from Zurich's main station in 12 minutes (direct connection). All the ammenities are very good, the breakfast is served in the main restaurant with lake view, the spa and the gym are very good. Dinning in the restaurant is an amazing experience, due to the environment as well as the food. In a warm nigh, it is possible to dinner looking to the lake, which may be a very romantic experience.

I have seen this wonderful hotel referred to as suitable for "budget" travellers. God knows what their budget was!..our large, well appointed room with the MOST comfortable beds I have ever encountered in a hotel but without a lake view was listed as 400 Swiss Francs a night!. BUT I have no complaints. The hotel is delightful and the food- we had dinner one night in the delightful, wooden-panelled Burestube - was just superb - as it should be for such high prices, though I guess they are normal for the well-heeled Swiss! The staff could not have been more helpful in every respect and the location is excellent, away from the rush of Zurich and right by the lakeside and an embarkment point for boats. Lovely exterior terrace restaurant for summer, a bar that allows smoking (we didn't stay long!) and easy parking. One tiny complaint. The wardrobe in our room was the tiniest I have seen in any hotel room for a very long time. Stay again?...yes please!
