I stumbled upon this museum while walking around in Yverdon and loved it! It's fairly small, but very neat. It's a welcome change from the historic museums and sites, which are great too, but it's nice to try something new. I enjoyed the paintings and sculptures of aliens and space heroes!

If you are not you might struggle. Definitely for sci-fi buffs only! Books on display go back years and fans will recognise most of them. Excellent exhibition on at the moment on the Russian film 'Stalker'. Enjoyable visit.

We visit the museum each time they have a new exhibit with ours kids, it's a fantastic way to make them think "out of the box". In addition they have workshops for kids on irregular basis; you have to be quick to register, but it is well worth the effort.
The new permanent exhibit is extremely well done and instructive for all of us; we like the interactivity and the overall feeling in the museum.
Mot to miss if you are in the region.

Undoubtedly the most serious and yet funniest place to learn or to know more about SF and the imaginary traveling!
If You make a stop at Yverdon-les-Bains, for its well known thermals or its marketplace, don't miss the "Maison d'Ailleurs" (transl. "House of Elsewhere"). Stunning exhibitions (temporary or permanent), books and the Jules Vernes space deserve your visit.
You may rush through... but also hang around and deepen your SF culture.
