Great location not only because of the view but also easy to get to with public transport.
Pretty standard basic rooms. The TV is as good as a tablet ;)
But everything was clean.
Nice hotel staff too and good food.
Small tip : if you plan to get to the luftseilbahn to Rigi, just be prepared for a small steep climb!

Lovely old hotel with some gorgeous views of Lake Lucerne.
We had a triple room with views over the lake and it was lovely.
Rooms are clean and spacious. Sleep quirky is very good.
Breakfast is good with great variety.
Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake is beautiful.
The staff were very friendly and always happy to help.
You can walk down to the waterfront and hire out boats. Overall nice peaceful place to stay with onsite parking if you need it.

We did not plan on staying here originally. When I went to check in at our original hotel and they notified me at check in that I was overbooked so they relocated us to the Alpenblick. I was very upset so I tried to dislike everything about the hotel.. The staff , the location and the restaurant made it impossible to do! Everyone was very accommodating when we showed up last minute. They view from our balcony was unbelievable and they offered a free breakfast in the morning. Breakfast you picked the night before and it came with fruits, breads, meats and cheese and a juice . It was delivered in a basket that was put in front of your door in the morning and there is a coffee pot to enjoy in your room as well. The location was very close to everything and within minutes to town, Mt Rigi and a store almost across the street . The restaurant offers a set meal every night and it is highly recommended.. we are still talking about our dinners there! If you go there make sure to try it at least once .The hotel is not right on the lake but you would not have the view if it was. We hope to go back and stay there again soon

Although the hotel was nice,Very dated. The staff was great. The view was Very good. We were there in Sept. The room was a little too warm for us.They gave us a fan made it better. We slept with the door on the river side open. Even when it was in the Forties at night.

Room tip: All the rooms have a good view of the River.

Cute little hotel, nice staff, clean, tidy, spacious rooms, nice pool, gorgeous restaurant with delicious buffet breakfast and yummy set-menu dinners. If you're coming from the Ferry Station, wait for the Lido Tourist Bus - it drops you off right outside!

Room tip: if you don't like cigarette smoke - perhaps choose a room without a view, then get your views outdoors instead!
