“Very nice place with everything that is needed for babies”
Reviewed April 5, 2014 via mobile

Been here with my wife and 4 month daughter. The baby club is very good, we could ski for half a day. The resort itself is quite old, but clean and tidy. The ski resort itself is pretty small, but nice.
The only con. is - not enough snow and too warm temperatures. But with a baby it's the best value for your money.

To be honest: after reading the reviews, we went looking for other Club- Med resorts. as we couldn't find one with a Petit club we 'settled' for that one. Fortunately.
beautiful hotel and resort, good food- we were stuffed although skiing- never hungry or thirsty, as the club's restaurant is between the slopes. Slopes are for families not for extreme. instructor is more of a guide as we were 12 to begin with, yet we stayed with the group as it was, on its own, a nice group with an experienced pleasant guide.
children: 7 yrs old: an English speaker- had the time of his life. was skiing all day with a good gentle instructor and his group of five- non English speakers, still they became friends and played together afternoon as well. and then there were evening activities and didn't want to miss them too...
7 months old: the petite club: 08:30-17:00 shiny happy people!! first time we have left him on his own, he was shining with them never looked back at us. As might happen when meeting other babies, he had two separate episodes of vomiting that week. we got every possible help and attention to an unbelievable level!!
Ski equipment: at the end of the week no signs nor blisters no tenderspots nor pain and we did ski every day all day. best equipent I had ever had. expensive though- should be remembered as one should ask for equipment included.
the train to the slopes is in front of the hotel - smiling with pleasure when thinking about it. part of the deal too.
food: not only food is very good and everywhere, dining room and chefs were kind and cooperative.
two drawbacks:
1. The shuttle from the hotel to the airport was late!!!! yes in switzerland.
2. At midnight this Club Med is passing away... niente rien guornicht mit nothing

Great food and choice of food. Very cosy atmosphere and the building is just wonderful. We stayed with 2 families and 5 kids ranging from 1 to 10. Enough activities for kids, and they soon knew their way in the hotel. We enjoyed and appreciated the hotel!

Great food choice. Nice staff. We had perfect ski instructor Ariel. He was able to cater to 9 people of different level and still get personal attention to each of us.
Rooms renovated but the same price can get you in the small medium or large room with or without balcony. Kids clubs are great. We spoke English and had no problems.
You have about 40 minutes to get to slopes on train.

Skis to rent are DEFINITELY cheaper in town not in Club Med. There are number of places conveniently close by. Train to Geneva will take around 2-3 hours and save at least 50%of privet transport.
In all great to travel with kids place.

Must say that Karina of front desk was very helpful and friendly, personal touches of their staff is a big bonus in regards to customers services. Titi who is actually a mini clubmed teacher, helped me (literally) lend me her arm to ascot me down the slippery snowy steps to the boot room on my first hour at this resort. She patiently waited for me, and bought me back to the safety of solid ground. My private instructor Michael Dieffenbecher whom I met on my first hour at the boot room offered excellent techniques for skiing, I have never skied before; and could manage to ski on my own on my 4th day on the bigger higher slope. Very happy and impressed with their staff. Big thanks to Gian Luca at the ski-boot room who fitted me with another pair of better fitting boot. Made a huge difference to my experience. Food was out of expectation = good. I liked the vast verity of vegetables and starch combination. The downside is that the staff at the shop wasn't helpful enough perhaps because of insufficient English spoken.
Bedrooms were dimly lit, very very dim.
Not enough lighting!!! Bathroom feels like school dorm.

Room Tip: Make sure you ask for south facing rooms.

Excellent relaxing week spent in family with 1 small kid. 1 Baby club with nice staff, full access to all kind of services including ski pass, pool, spa, .. All organized with a nice and charming team, always smiling and available for customers.

Really a "must go" place in winter times.

One regret, not so much snow but we can't blame the staff for that...

Having paid a lot and heard about the 'great' Club Med standards we were disappointed with our first experience. All 'branded' drinks were charged extra (a LOT extra!) and the wine was very average by French standards. The quality of staff was inconsistent: some were brilliant and some were very poor. As we were the only English guests in the hotel during our stay we felt a little alienated. The lady running the 'Petit Club Med' was awful and we moved our 3 year old into a different section after only 2 days. Having to catch the train every morning and every afternoon laden with ski gear was painful and there were no manners, respect for queues etc. anywhere that we went. Ski school was good but be careful if your kids only speak English as they may feel alienated. Hotel was a bit old and rough around the edges. Rooms were inconsistent: our family room was considerably larger than our friends family room for exactly the same price. Overall we found the experience over-priced, very French focused, badly organised (no wine on our table on New Years Eve!) and some staff to be downright badly mannered. Won't be going back!
