Recommended to eat here on staff day off at the Hotel Montpelier. We were a party of 14 and hoped to be able to find something for everyone.
Not a very varied menu - it's basically a pizza place with prices from about £15, salads and sides around £8. Food was good quality and all freshly made, decent portion size but not really enough for huge mountain appetites. Service was friendly but not rapid, which is fine if you're out for the night but frustrating when you're starving!
We also got asked to quieten down by a guest at the next table, which is a first for anywhere I've ever eaten! Understandable maybe, as large parties do tend to talk loudly, but not helped by hard floors and cramped seating. Bit of a trek out of town too.
I would hope there are other places for a mixed group to eat out in Verbier.

Service was quick and friendly.Restaurant was packed with Guests but the service was very good. Food was good but still expensive for what we ate. This is Verbier.

Amazing pizzas, relaxed atmosphere, friendly service, great with children. We kept returning for lunch (three times in all) as nowhere else could match Al Capone. Highly recommended.

We are lucky enough to have some friends with a chalet in Verbier, and they let us stay there this summer. It's just up the hill from Al Capone's, and we drove past it on the way up. We decided to check it out on night 1. And night 2. And night 4. Night 3 was Le Carrefour, which was also very nice, but not as family oriented. Our 6-year old loved the pizzas, as did we, as well as the steaks, and the staff were wonderful, even allowing us to buy some of their pizza plates!

It was July and the weather was fabulous, ad were really enjoyed relaxing in the warmth on the balcony. Thoroughly recommended.

We ate here three times during a superb week of skiing and had a really excellent meal every time, we were in a group of both adults and kids and ate a whole variety of courses, pizzas, calzone, snails, lasagne, pasta etc. All were great, well cooked and very tasty. Highly recommended.
