It was a year since last time we visited Chateauvieux... And we regret it, we should have come sooner. This place has something magic. It is beyond just good food. The house itself. The whole place offers this special atmosphere, the team, the chefs, finally everything is just a journey out of the ordinary. We were impressed by the surprise menu: it is simple, it is pure, it is a celebration of the main components. It is just perfect. Pure emotion, until the very last plate. The wines were great, with a few local discoveries. And the breakfast, for the lucky ones sleeping on site, is just great. As said, nothing is ordinary here,

A very interesting culinary experience in a restaurant nestled among the Swiss vines; Excellent service, very pleasant terrace during summer and the opportunity is given to you to accompany the chef/cooks in the kitchen, The building also houses a hotel and if we would be coming form outside Geneva we would certainly give the rooms a try. The food is excellent, albeit be it a bit classical. Pricey but quality food.

Absolutely sumptuous meal from start to finish.
The amuse-bouche, followed by a seven course meal with matching wines was incredible. The cheese presentation included a selection of what had to be 50 different cheeses from the region.
Service was superb.
A memorable meal!!

Paying for a 5 course menu at CHF 130.- is really worth it. Everything is perfect (atmosphere, the scenery, the location, food, taste, plating and to the kindness of the staff)

I went there for my 20th birthday and I was not expecting that level of cooking ! I could not believe the skills that the cooks have there and I personally knew the chef so I had the chance to eat inside the kitchen which was an amazing dining experience ! So far the best restaurant I've ever been to. The service is absolutely perfect, they have an eleven courses meals dinner with a different kind of wine for every meal which suits perfectly ! Simply amazing and definitely the place to be.
