From the time we called the hotel to ask them to pick us up at the car park until the time we were dropped off three days later at our car, we were treated like royalty. The staff quickly learned our needs and made us feel special. We took the suggestion from another trip advisor review and asked for a room on the opposite side of the church. The church bells are loud and begin at 7 am, too early while on vacation. The room was lovely, water and apples waiting for us daily. The restaurant was great for lunch as well as dinner. Staying in the summer, the Saas pass gives you free access to all buses and cable cars as well as a discount for parking. It would have been nice if the bar had been open in the afternoon for an appetitive but the village us so wonderful that we walked a short way to have one before dinner.
- Official Description (provided by the hotel):
- Hotel The Dom - Where tradition and today meet Our hotel is situated in the center of Saas-Fee, a location with the best-possible guarantee of snow in Europe, and embedded in the typical architecture of the 19th century, when tourism was dominated by the English.
