“Great location, good food”
Reviewed March 7, 2013

We go to this restaurant since we moved here in 2008; The pizza is good but not perfect for italians ( the size is quite small and the dought a little bit too "crisp" and hard to cut) but the ingredients are fresh good.
We like to come during the week for lunch , they propose 3 or 4 choise of "plat du jour" for a very good price, (between 17-21 chf) and the dishes are always delicious, fresh, well presented .
The stuff is kind, and the restaurant is directly on lake view. We particulary love the furniture, quite original, a little bit of "brocante" style, all very well mixed, it's really a cozy place, open 7/7, and during morning and afternoon is a cafe.

“Affordable meal on Lake Geneva”
Reviewed January 15, 2013

After being horrified by the high prices in Switzerland restaurants ($25-35 per entree) we were happy to find Quai 23 offering pizzas and salads at a reasonable cost. My husband and I shared an excellent pizza along with the Melee Salad, which was huge and full of yummy, fresh veggies. We also enjoyed a blond Swiss beer. The service was excellent...when our server didn't understand our English, he whisked another server over who was able to understand our requests and explain the menu. This was one of our favorite places to eat during our monthlong stay in Switzerland.

“Very good pizza in a casual atmosphere”
Reviewed October 12, 2012

I was invited by some business associates to this place for a casual dinner. The pizza was great, just the way I like it: Italian style thin well baked crust that does not soak up ingredients and get soggy plus high quality toppings in perfect quantity that are well distributed on the pizza. We had some good Swiss red wine as well.

“Great pizza”
Reviewed September 18, 2012

In Nyon, Quai 23 pushes La Croix Verte for the title of best pizza in town. The pizzas we had here at the weekend were excellent - proper Italian base and succulent toppings.

Where Quai 23 loses out to La Croix Verte is the atmosphere and the size of the terrace. Service is often slow and not as friendly. If you eat in the restaurant area rather than the bar it's often too hot and frequently smells of burnt food. The terrace has a great lake view but it's very small and right on the road. But these are minor issues and they shouldn’t stop you coming here if you’re down by the lake looking for great pizza!

“Nice staff, average pizza!”
Reviewed August 24, 2012

I wish I could give this a better review as the staff were really good, but they are unfortunately let down by the pizzas. Plus points: Great that they bring you carafes of water to the table, rather than pushing the bottled water/ well dressed and tasty green salads / good and generous portioned pasta dishes. Negatives: terrible pizza! All the pizzas that came to our table were burnt, making the edges inedible and them difficult to cut into. I understand that they were coming out of the pizza oven, but this us suppose to enhance the flavour, not nuke it! The four seasons was a mess - all the toppings mixed into a jumble of seafood, ham and whatever else was thrown on. Just bizarre. Apart from being burnt one of the children's pizzas came with Parmesan shavings liberally scattered on the top - like a pasta dish. Many children dislike Parmesan and this meant an unhappy little boy! I don't think we will go back which is a shame as the ambience and location was very pleasant .
