In a sad rainy day the Cheval Blanc was a perfect solution! The food is excellent, if only a bit pricey (but average for Switzerland). Perfect salad with fresh ingredients, perfectly well cooked "filet de perche" with homemade fries. The dessert "fondant au chocolat" was simply divine and the presentation of each dish was very nice. Also to note, excellent Espresso, a true suprise for an Italian!I honestly do not understand the coments about the bad service. The waiter was very nice and he brought us the dishes with normal speed. 136CHF for two people for two filet the perche (salad and fries), two glasses of wine, water, truly fantastic desert, and two espressos. I'd say average price for an area where a simple pizza costs around 22CHF.
