Restaurant review only.

Table for two booked in busy Geneva Carshow period. Restaurant was at capacity but all was handled v well by young and enthusiastic staff. Lovely house, creaky original parquet and ambiance. The menu is unpretentious and quite short although this delivered very well executed dishes in a timely and unhurried manner. There was nothing on there that did not sound delicious. The prices are v reasonable, including the wine. In conclusion we were v pleased to celebrate our wedding anniversary there and shall be going back soon, as it is only down the road.

went for business dinner last night. First time I heard of this restaurant. exceptional location, beautiful restaurant. Relatively small menu card, but good quality with some good local wines. Had the veloute and the tartare de boeuf. Both very good although the tartare could be a bit more corse. Service was impeccable. Terrace for dinner must be attractive in summer, with view on the lake. Will be back.

We have only just left this beautiful maison and enjoyed our overnight stay greatly! Although from the outside the hotel has "old world charm", our room was ultra modern with beautiful furnishings and fittings. Our room was one of the cheaper rooms ( it was near the road and didn't overlook the garden ) but it was still more than adequate. The large shower and rain style shower head was the best we experienced in 5 weeks in Europe! Breakfast was also very good quality and was what I had hoped for. If you speak French it will be an advantage, but we got by with only a few French phrases. There is adequate car parking if needed. The location is good, being close to town and to the lakefront promenade ( which was enjoyable to walk along ). All in all it was a very pleasant experience.

I was not a guest of the Hotel, I live in Lausanne, so no need! Yet we went there for dinner and the food was really good. Well presented, good service, not a huge choice but we were all satisfyied. The house is unique, we were outside on the patio. the garden is great and I would suggst it also for aperitif.

What a fantastic job the two owners, Catherine and Heloise, have done to this beautiful manor house, striking an excellent balance between keeping the charm of the original home, yet infusing it with their excellent taste and style. The service is always warm and friendly, and you are greeted with a smile. This is the perfect hotel for business travelers, as well as couples, solo, or families: they have a big room upstairs (gorgeous!) that would accommodate children as well. The beauty of its location is its proximity (2 minutes' walk) to the lake promenade, which is stunning, and to the city-centre (5 minutes' walk), as well as the Morges train station which is a major stop on the Montreux/Vevey to Geneva axis. We had a lovely dinner recently out in the garden, à deux, while the children were away, and had a splendid meal: service is prompt, the food lovely, and the wine nicely chilled. If you sit inside due to weather, try to get a table in the dining room in the big bay window - it's as if you're sitting out in the garden itself. What makes this hotel so special is that each and every room is different; the colours, style, and thought that have gone into each room are well and truly worth the experience. The home is rich in history, too: Be sure to read the book in the entry on the bar (beautiful bar at that - made by a local mason, mixing wood and metal for a stunning finish). Igor Stravinsky lived in this home at one point in its rich history, and every room's name is pertinent, offering a nod to an important person or moment, story, or tale relating to (or having occurred in) the home.

Room Tip: Take a look at the website; there are great descriptions and photos for each room.

We received a very friendly welcome to La Maison d'Igor. We had booked a room overlooking the lake, which we could just about see through the trees in the garden. Very spacious room and bathroom and the most comfortable bed and bed linen we have had in any hotel. Lovely garden and very good breakfast. A different company hosts dinner in their restaurant and we just squeezed in. Would definitely recommend booking the restaurant for dinner. Altogether a very pleasant stay in Morges.

Room Tip: Book a room overlooking the garden.

Spent four wonderful nights at this very charming and relaxing boutique hotel. The Hotel is located away from the main centre of Morges but only a minute from the lake along which you can stroll to the town centre. The hotel is small but beautifully laid out with all the rooms having names and being slightly different. We stayed in Denges room which was plain but extremely comfortably furnished. The restaurant in the hotel was very good but had a limited menu so might not suit people with more particular taste in food. The grounds were very nice to sit out in even though there is a bit of noise from the roads nearby (not heard at night in room). Breakfast was continental with croissant, ham and cheese, fresh fruit etc very simple but nicely done. All in all would recommend for a relaxing stay

Room Tip: Denges room overlooked the garden and was on the top floor so quieter
