This has been our go-to place for years, and it has never disappointed. The staff is very friendly, the menu changes often and is creative. The salmon tartar as a starter or main course is always lovely and fresh, and I hear (from friends with whom I ate) that the burger does a good job of hitting the spot. The desserts are lovely as well. Sitting outside by the fountain on a warm day or evening is a treat, albeit right next to the road. Still, if you ask for a place outside on the inside side of the fountain, it's fine. Their local wine selection is good, and they like to promote regional wines. The mixed drinks are a treat - expensive in usual Swiss style, but nicely served. It's a sure bet for a dinner à deux, a dinner with friends, business, or solo. Can't say I've really ever seen families in there, at least not families with kids under 12. The menu, as far as I know, doesn't have kiddie specials, although the staff and kitchen are rather accommodating.
